I wouldn't mind DJ Augustin either as he could be primary backup while Tyus adapts to the NBA game, plus he's a good insurance policy on Rubio's health as last year he was an injury replacement as starter for the Pistons and he went on a tear.

Zach looks like he has another notch. Liking his confidence. I am going to get sick of Towns doing that same slow motion hook shot all year. Very Kandiesque. Otherwise fun first game.

I think Jones, more than anybody, needs his body to mature and also hit the weights. He's never going to be imposing athletically, but he can catch up a bit.
But between now and the season starting the Wolves are going to have to decide if he can be the primary backup at PG. Also Rubio has not been able to stay healthy, so you have to take that into consideration.
I wouldn't be surprised if they went out and got somebody else right now tho.

I really like the " I've always loved that about his game" comment for a nineteen year old player, as if he has been watching him for years.

Augustin? He just does nothing for me. Wouldn't you rather give those mins to LaVine, LoBrow, or Jones? Just from a development aspect, I'd much rather see one of those three playing and developing than Augustin.

I like Reggie Miller but I swear he doesn't do any homework whatsoever which is too bad I think he has some good insight that would really shine if he put more time into his craft.

Reggie is bad. The play by play guy was atrocious.
See, this is honestly partly why I don't want JVG as our coach. Then we wouldn't get to hear his awesome commentary! I love that guy. Funny without trying too hard. Doesn't take himself or the game too seriously. Obviously cares about the game a ton. Works well with others. Just a great commentator.

Very well said about being more happy with LoBro than disappointed in Tyus. I left yesterday's game feeling pretty good about our draft picks, despite their unimpressive stats and a couple mental lapses by Tyus.

Haha people making conclusions after one summer league game, things never change. Let's rewind it back to last year when Anthony Bennett looked like the next Shawn Kemp

Has anyone posted a grade on KG's mentoring on the game yet? Oh what's that? He wasn't there? Wasn't the point of him being to mentoring the young guys....no? But all of our young guys were there in one place...no we need to save his mentoring for the season? Oh gotcha.
