Robinson's interview skills are pretty impressive for a 20-year old. Then again, he was sitting next to LaVine lol.

Lavine seemed kind of goofy during the interview after he was drafted last night but I was impressed with how intelligent he sounded in his MN introduction today to be honest

Edit: I meant to say he sounded intelligent when he did the solo interview in MN, this one he was a little derpy lol

"Who are you most excited to play with on this current Timberwolves team?"

Both rooks said Ricky Rubio. They're not stupid. They've heard all the rumors and such, but I think the answer would be the same even if Kevin Love was locked up for two more years. Rubio sets guys up for easy/good looks. Players play better when they get a bucket here and there. That's the Ricky Rubio effect. He's shown that he can make Greg Stiemsma, Chris Johnson, Anthony Randolph, Wes Johnson, Michael Beasley and Mickael Gelabale look like NBA players on offense. These two rooks are going to make hard cuts, run the floor hard and defend hard in hopes of a fastbreak ability.

PG: Rubio/Shved
SG: Martin/LaVine
SF: Brewer/Robinson
PF: Love/Mbah a Moute
C: Pekovic/Dieng

That's how I see the depth chart being right now. I think Flip is going to do his very best to move Barea and Budinger. He tried to move a player or two on draft night for a low 1st, according to Zgoda.

If Shved doesn't work out at backup PG, why not see what LaVine can do there. Get his feet wet immediately. Move Muhammad into backup SG and let Robinson guard the better opposing wing on the floor.

LaVine was fine. Its kinda cool he has a synergy account and uses it. That shouldn't be a suprise in this day in age but idk if guys really do that.

GR3 sounded more like a young vet than a 20 year old kid. I try not to be too impressed with interviews or guys talking but I really liked what and how he said it. Talked a lot about being a leader. He seems like he has the potential to be a even keal glue guy on a team. I really like him a lot.

G-Rob3 might just be the steal of the 2nd round. Great kid and has the motor and skill to make it at the next level.

Zac 'U Know ' LeVine seems a lot less mature, but he is only 19. Seems confident in his abilities and genuinely seems happy to be a wolf.

I like how both mentioned they were excited to play with Ricky. Absolutely no mention of Love which is interesting.

I think we're gonna get a lot of funny/interesting quotes from LaVine in the future. Aside from the "you know"s and the constant reminder of his hardwork, he lets his personality shine a little bit.

Robinson is the professional's professional. Doesn't surprise me. His dad was a hooper. He knows what the process takes from a media standpoint. GR3 has Kawhi Leonard potential to me. Think he's a keeper.

Levine is more of a baller type that's gonna be confident and talk up his game. I see more why Flip picked him. If he turns out he could be exactly the type of guy this team needs. Guard that can get them and will take shots at big moments. Notice all the guys he mentions as comps to himself are to one extent or another are what would be perfect with Love and Rubio. Crawford, Westbrook, Curry. Those guys are gonna take shots and can get them.

Gary Harris wasn't going to be that type of guy. Flip picked Levine because he might be that scorer this team needs. We have too many guys that fit into their roles on offense or defense or whatever. Levine shows some personality of being the gunner this team needs.

His Bio is interesting. His dad is a former Pro linebacker so Zach has been working on his craft for a while. His first year of HS varsity ball he was a serious scorer almost 26 ppg and according to his website got D-I scholarship offers. He cracked his hip that summer missing the season and then blew up again his senior year improving significantly. I'm starting to get more intruiged by him. I need to ask my brother who lives in the Idaho Washington area if he knows anything interesting about Lavine who was Mr. Basketball his senior year.

I am all for getting his feet wet, but I really hope Ricky and Lavine are out there at the same time.

I will give the LaVine pick a B
For the GRIII pick I will give them an A-

I would have loved a PF in the second, but am fine with a vet FA.
