He's looking weak in the paint on both ends tonight. He still has work to do to strengthen his base. God, we could use Pekovic on the squad! Someone that can clear out bodies and doesn't get moved around so easily.

Not surprised. He's super aggressive defensively. Once he builds up his reputation as a defender and gets a couple years though, they will start calling those ticky tack ones less. I don't understand the call he got trying to get around that Jordan screen. A) How was that a fouls? and B) Why did Doncic get the free throws?

I'm glad someone else was confused about that also.

Simple enough, Towns just needs to trust his hook. Too often I've seen him drop-step on a smaller defender instead of just rising over them with his hook (that's money). As soon as he drop-steps, he's giving Help defenders time to rush him.

Should he be adjusting to a face up game? I mean he can just shoot over those guys and Towns shootings a midrange is relatively fine right?

I really like how much more Towns is trying to set up other players. That and defense is what will really make him great.

I'm a little behind as I'm recording it but how many minute do you think Okogie will play before he touches the ball on offense?? Typical of the wolves offense.

Not sure you want him touching it a lot on offense. That's not exactly his strong suit yet. Transition and catch and shoot 3's is where he should get his touches.

Wolves have some possessions where they haven't pursued the ball enough. Credit to Dallas for that effort but the Wolves need more.

Fun time to be a Mavs fan.
