KAT's gonna have to deal with this because now most people believe he is soft. The lasting impression people have of Towns is that playoff series when he got owned by Capela. Until he gets back to the playoffs and fixes that, this is what people will think of him. Jimmy has only poured gasoline on the fire.

As for Wiggins, I just think everyone has left him for dead and Wiggins is seemingly cool with people leaving him there.

Any other team and the reaction to all of this isn't drastically different, but this team will never get the benefit of the doubt as long as Glen is the owner and as long as this team is in Minneapolis.

I agree with you on KAT's situation. I don't know what benefit of the doubt means in this context. In the end, all that matters is making good personnel decisions that lead to excellent front office executives, and excellent head coach and good player acquisitions decisions to build the team around KAT and Okogie. Do I have a lot of confidence that Glen will make the right front office personnel decisions? No. But it's possible. Even a blind squirrel find a nut once in a while. And this franchise did have a nice run in Glen's early years. In any event, Glen will likely own this team for several more years so we'd better hope he finds a nut or two, but hopefully not a nutcase. :)
