Should've just kept Wiggs on the bench if all he was gonna be was a decoy/traffic cone for Rose and Co.
Butler may be gone but the offensive strategy is still the same in late and close games. Instead if Jimmy ball it's just become Rose ball. With some Towns sprinkled in as a late 2nd resort. Absolutely pathetic loss.

It's all right, we have a deep team and hopefully a new coach next year who will use proper rotations, modern offense, and not yell so much during play.
I don't think we're as highly sought after by top HC candidates as when we initially hired phibs but coaches have to watch how we misuse towns and all our other issues and know they can do a better job

I don't understand the love affair with Tyus Jones. Why do we fall in love with pgs that are so terribly flawed?

Does thibs have any other plays late in the 4th or ot that isnt an ex-bull iso?
The other 4 guys arent even involved unless its a broken play. Wiggs gets 1 shot attempt combined in the 4th and ot? Saric none?

Agree 100% with this analysis. If you're going to go iso then you have to intervene and spread it around.

But hey... Okogie got to play. Isn't that what everybody wanted?
- Bad loss. Detroit was 9 - 13 on three pointers in the 4th quarter.
- I said it earlier this week: Look beyond the stats with Derrick Rose. You'll see why he was a laughingstock even while averaging 18/4/4/47% fg in NY. He was terrible late. I'm not counting the lucky bank as a good play. The time where he lost his man from an out of bounds play for several seconds was a terrible look.
He does some amazing things. But I just don't see him as a guy who's made his teammates (teams) better for many years now. He plays a selfish game.
- Although I didn't see Thibs get upset and carry on like a lunatic... like he did when KAT stepped out of bounds or after Drummond hit the three. Wasn't Rose's play much more egregious?
- That being said... KAT was horrible. Heck, he wasn't even hunting for rebounds early in the game. He let his teammates grab several in the first half that normally he would have chased down. Not a good game for him.
- Phoenix won again. Watch out!

Our team is full of guys with empty stats, we've been prone to selfish play for a while. Very strange egos on this team, coach included. It looked like Roco and Saric were going to break through it for a while but Roco especially went from DPOY guy to invisible in this last losing stretch. This core can't have much more time together, but the saddest thing is that Taylor will take as long as possible to make a move. Where's the Klunk-o-meter?

The part of Roses game that's frustrating is when he goes 1 on 2 or 3 in the paint and throws up wild shots. He needs to pass out to the open 3. It's a consistent theme with him. I'm fine if he is attacking 1 V 1, it's when they close down the paint and he goes hero ball. Find the open guy Rose.

Trading Teague makes this team worse, not better.
