If MCW and Giannis will ever learn to shoot jumpers even at OK rate, Milwaukee will have a great team.

I think Milwaukee messed up trading Knight for MCW. I know they didn't want to pay Knight and they see MCW as a mini-Kidd, but their offense seemed to be much more potent with Knight while not losing anything defensively. Plus it gave them another shooter.

This got me thinking would you rather have MCW or Jennings? I liked the Knight for Jennings trade for Milwaukee back then and it was looking really good as Knight had taken another step forward. I like MCW but I know he has limitations. It will be interesting how it plays out.

The Bucks made a calculated decision based on Knight's chances of resigning. It was one of those semi-forced moves that small market teams have to make. They basically made the best out of a an iffy situation.

Yes, I think it made their already quite bad offense even worse and I think Knight was also better in defending really fast point guards. I still think that MCW has much higher upside than Knight. So if MCW will learn to shoot it will be clear win trade for Milwaukee. But that is one big IF.

Surprisingly MCW had positive plus minus already this year in Milwaukee and Knight had negative plus minus, so their worse record after the trade might be also partially result of bad luck in close games and tougher schedule in the end of season.

I think after this offseason when Knight resigns to a new contract MCW will be better value. I am pulling for the Bucks in this one.

In regards to the team comparison, I think Wiggins/Lavine/Okafor or Towns is a more desirable young core than Parker/Giannis/MCW in my mind.

Good points Mikke. I watched a lot of Bucks games this year. Knight's problem is he is the anti-distributor, without the dominant offensive game to go with it. That is why his plus minus numbers don't stack up. He is a very good offensive player, but he tries to by Kyrie and he's just not capable of that type of production.

You're also right about their schedule getting tougher. That coupled with injuries to some key guys and Sanders being let go led to the relatively poor finish. Parker is really going to make as difference with this team, but they lack top end assets like the Wolves have with the top 4 pick.

Oh boy...

@ChrisBHaynes: #Cavs GM David Griffin says surgery is an option for Kevin Love and he calls it a surprise if he could return for postseason.

The Wizards were the worst team in the league a few years ago. Look what they've done with a mediocre coach in just a couple years.

We need Pek to slim down and be our Gortat. A shrewd free agent signing and productive draft pick this year and we can be the next Wiz kids.

I hope. I hope...
