Personally, I think Love is a selfish player, and in the end, will either sign with us for max deal with 5 years or will force a sign-and-trade.

I agree, I think he Max's here. I think he is content in Minny. The money is here. He is immature, and talks too much. That is really the biggest drawback. He also and wants to win, which is good . We put a team around him and he stays.

I agree that it is highly unlikely Love ends up signing with the Lakers as a free agent given how much money the Lakers will have tied up on Kobe and the quality of the team they are likely to have. Love will be motivated by the money and desire to win. He's not a night-life guy, a rapper or a Hollywood guy. The Wolves will be able to offer a lot more money than the Lakers and I doubt the Lakers' prospects of winning a championship will be much better than Wolves prospects in two years.

I agree that Houston makes the most sense based on championship prospects among teams that will likely have enough cap space. Love, Howard and Harden would be great complementary pieces. However, to say that Houston will have the cap room to sign Love, while true, tells only part of the story. If the Rockets were to sign Love the summer of 2015, they would have about $54 million tied up in 4 players -- Love, Howard, Harden and some no-name role player. That would leave the Rockets only about $5 million in cap room to fill the remaining 9 spots on the roster. In other words, The Rockets could sign Love and I can see why Love would want to sign there. But it would be a stretch.

Bottom line is that the Wolves will have a huge edge if they want to re-sign Love. That means the Wolves will have a lot of leverage to get a very good deal if they decide to trade him.

Rumors swirling around about the Wolves acquiring Rondo. Have to think both Rondo and Love would want to stay paired up right? Assuming they don't have any conflict. And Love gets to stay with his buddy Pekovic. Lol

How about we trade Love now? I would trade him to the Rockets.

Love, Budinger, and Barrea for Asik, Lin, T. Jones, C. Parson, and Beverly.

I would take Lin back to dump Barrea and Budinger. Lin has a shorter contract.

I know, but it is reality. We would rid ourselves of a lot of garbage with Love and add cheap talent in Parson, Jones, and Beverly. Lin and Asik expire next year. Hopefully both could be traded.

There's no point in mentioning any trade that involves HOU. To HOU, Asik is that old rocking chair with a $50 price tag at the garage sale that grandpa won't let go for less because that's the chair he was sitting in when Reagan was inaugurated.

Prediction: HOU will move Asik to OKC at the deadline for Perkins/The Dallas 1st or they will never move him for anything of value.
