Kahns, I agree. Pek improved and leveled off the past two seasons at around 17 points and 8-9 rebounds per game at 30 minutes a game. That's who he is and that's who he will always be with or without Love. Of course he only puts up those numbers when he's playing and staying healthy and on the court tend to be a struggle for him. So we'll see. If healthy he'll give us some much-needed scoring at around 17-18 PPG and 8-9 boards.

I think Pek's defensive rebounding numbers actually were better in 2012-13 season than other seasons because Love did played less than 20 games. I checked his average per 36 minutes after Love was injured and it was 6.43 defensive rebounds that is about 1 defensive rebound more than Pek's career average. In advanced numbers difference would have been even more clear.

Still I agree that we can only expect that Pek would get max 10 rebounds per game without Love and even that would require him playing same amount of minutes than in previous years. I think that improved play of Dieng will actually cut some of Pek's minutes.
