It's a sad state of affairs down there. Moore Jr. and Miller are G-League vets by this point, yet unless Garza is on the floor with them, they suck.

They play really small. Miller is one of the only guys they play with any kind of size in terms of typical bigs. It’s kinda weird.
Wendell Moore shooting stats are pretty bad. He does do some other stuff but yikes he is statistically looking worse than last year. Thankfully he won’t cost much next season and at this point might be useful as a salary filler/flyer in a trade.

Iowa lost again last night too. Here is the box:
https://gleague.nba.com/game/mhu-vs-iwa ... =box-score
Leonard Miller had 35 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists.
WMJ had 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. That's his second good (statistical) game in a row.
Trevor Keels had 17 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists.

Good to see Miller have a good game, but the Iowa team still bleeds points on defense and he's a big part of the problem. Not sure what value he adds to the big league team when we already have Reid and Garza - two other gifted offensive bigs with holes defensively. If anything, we should be developing a defensive-oriented big man in the G-League that can eventually step into the Rudy role. Miller ain't that.

We need an infusion of scoring and rebounding. I’m not sure we can trust Miller to provide those things reliably at the NBA level. And while I’m not sure we need to develop a defensive-oriented big in the G-League, we can’t afford to add a terrible defender to the rotation and Leonard Miller is an absolutely atrocious defender.

At least one of our teams won last night:
https://gleague.nba.com/game/iwa-vs-gli ... =box-score
Lance Stephenson had 16 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists.
Tyrese Martin had 30 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. I had to look this guy up.
Fun facts:
* He was part of the 2022 (Wendell Moore Jr.) draft and was taken #51 (right after we grabbed Spagnolo)
* He's older...turns 25 in March
* He logged 66 minutes in 16 games last year with Atlanta.

He's a guy I've been keeping an eye on, because God knows you can't have enough wings that can shoot and rebound/pass a little bit. But his age is a red flag. Tough to see him breaking through if he hasn't already done so.

Iowa loses - not surprisingly as most of the big guns were with the big team.
https://gleague.nba.com/game/iwa-vs-sto ... =box-score
Lance Stephenson with 16 points/13 rebounds. He's a double double machine down there.
Tyrese Martin had his second flash game with 24 points and 9 rebounds.
And a bunch of other guys we never heard of also played...

Tyrese Martin is starting to flash. Another good game with 31 points and 11 rebounds.

Iowa lost last night. But some good scoring games from a few guys:
https://gleague.nba.com/game/iwa-vs-bhm ... =box-score
Josh Minott. 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Leonard Miller: 28 points, 11 rebounds
Tyrese Martin: 29 points, 3 rebounds
Martin has been filling up box scores for several games now. I could see him getting a call from a team in need if he can keep that up. He's averaging 20 points, 7 rebounds in 9 regular season games, but has really come of late. His last 5 games:
January 10 - 30 points
January 12 - 24 points
January 14 - 19 points
January 15 - 31 points
January 18 - 29 points
