- This is getting fun. Who knew defense could be fun? And, we all have our takes on Towns' antics... but that guy is competing defensively right now. There was one sequence where he worked and worked and worked to keep Klay from getting a shot off. The sample size is getting larger, so it's looking more legit. I'm sure smart teams will figure some things out, but as long as the Wolves keep competing like this and stay relatively healthy... this could get VERY FUN.
- Yet ANOTHER Edwards tries to do too much... but it ends up working out anyway game. Whatever... as long as he slowly learns and develops and makes enough of those extra passes here and there as he has and they keep winning. He's special.
- Curry remains amazing. Damn. He needs help though.
- As noted, it's no longer amusing to see Draymond Green bully officials in every game and get away with it.
- "What?! A foul on me?" Mike Conley after Chris Paul dove into Conley's knees while he was just standing there.
- Too bad this game doesn't mean nearly as much as the next game vs. Golden State.
- This is only the 2nd 6-game win streak in 20 years. (2022). Could be the first 7 game win streak on Tuesday.
Yeah, I was frustrated, upset, and then in awe watching Ant in the 4th. His base instinct is to play hero ball. So after multiple failed attempts at rising up with a hand in his face beyond the 3-point arc, Finchie finally drew up a couple plays for Mike Conley....and it worked. He made a couple buckets in a row to help keep a comfortable lead.
But at the 2:28 mark, it was still a slightly uncomfortable 10 point lead. In the ensuing four Wolves possessions, Ant scores. First on free throws and then he makes three consecutive shots to put the game out of reach. The development of a mid-range game has been huge.
There is no such thing as lack of confidence with this kid. He literally thinks he can make every shot. Sometimes it backfires, but at the end of the day, you need a player with a killer instinct to win big games. He has it in spades and we need to take the bad with the good.
Ant said postgame that Conley told him to lay off the 3's when he was struggling in the 4th. What I like is that Ant took it well and focused on getting to the cup or using his mid-range game. He's special no doubt and even though he has room to grow, I'm really glad he's on our side.
Reading X last night was interesting. During the game I didn't realize the number of dirty plays by the Warriors. Folks were really on CP3 about diving into Conley's legs during the scramble. And there were two instances pointed out where Draymond stuck an elbow into the necks of Wolves players. My fear is in spite of this, the Warriors did enough complaining to tilt the officiating further their way on Tuesday night. They are going to be more desperate, so the Wolves are going to have to play just as hard to get a win. But it's fun to know we can play with and beat these guys on their home court. What did you guys think about the dirty plays?

Think this says it all on the importance of Mike Conley.
Anthony Edwards on what Mike Conley said to him late in the game:
"Mike just tells me, ‘No more 3s, man. Get inside the three-point line. It ain’t falling.’ He pretty much just told me to get to the line. ... My middy started to fall late. That helped me a lot."

That DLO trade for Conley, NAW and three second-round picks might be the best deal the Wolves franchise has ever made.
