Love Ant's drive to the basket to tie the game with 2 seconds left! Also, both Rudy and Ju were in position to get the offensive rebound if the shot wasn't made. And then Queen got a good look to win it, but you can't overestimate the impact Rudy's length has on altering shots.

That final Queen shot in regulation was very similar to a buzzer beater he hit at Maryland last year to win a game in the NCAA tournament. Rudy being there to contest it, definitely helped change that outcome.

Yes, much better than a contested step-back 3 that we've seen so often. He made a few big-time drives in the 4th quarter and OT which is very encouraging. He is so good going down hill with his speed and footwork. There are times he literally can't be fouled because he is too damn elusive and ambidextrous. He seems to be finishing his layups at higher rate too, although I haven't checked the stats on that.

I don’t have the extract number but I saw yesterday that Ant is up 10% at finishing at the rim compared to last year.

And it certainly passes the eye test! Not to mention making a game tying shot with seconds to go in a game for the first time! He is taking a leap this year! We don't need no stinkin' point guard! ;)

Needless to say, the Wolves defensive rating fell out of the top 10 after last night... :(

Ant is currently shooting 63% at the rim

Yes. He looks legit.

BUT... he has to hit really big for what the Pelicans gave up for him. They gave Atlanta an unprotected pick in this year's draft (supposed to be good)... to move up from #23 to #13.

The Pelicans are currently 3 - 19 (worst in the league).

[Note: It was a no-brainer for Atlanta. They get a top 5 pick for moving down 10 spots. Thanks!]

And I think they said #23 was acquired by giving up the Pacers #1 pick next year (which was before the Hali injury). So Queen may have cost them two top-5 picks next year!
