That final Queen shot in regulation was very similar to a buzzer beater he hit at Maryland last year to win a game in the NCAA tournament. Yes, much better than a contested step-back 3 that we've seen so often. He made a few big-time drives in the 4th quarter and OT which is very encouraging. He is so good going down hill with his speed and footwork. There are times he literally can't be fouled because he is too damn elusive and ambidextrous. And it certainly passes the eye test! Not to mention making a game tying shot with seconds to go in a game for the first time! He is taking a leap this year! BUT... he has to hit really big for what the Pelicans gave up for him. They gave Atlanta an unprotected pick in this year's draft (supposed to be good)... to move up from #23 to #13.
The Pelicans are currently 3 - 19 (worst in the league).
