2026 draft

Re: 2026 draft
Some of his value is he might stay overseas for a year. I don't know if he is as thrilling otherwise. I watched a short highlights of him. I didn't hate it. Lol
Re: 2026 draft
I'll say this...if the Wolves trade out of the #33 pick and get some future 2nds that aren't terrible I wouldn't hate that. Again I don't know hardly anything about the guys available so that makes it easier for me.
Another way to look at it would you rather pick some rookie or sign a young free agent like Jeremey Souchan or some other still fairly young guy that's already played some NBA basketball and could improve still with that roster spot? Or would you rather sign an more proven vet with that spot? If I was picking between for sure drafting someone at #33 and say signing Bones I would pick Bones but that's also assuming we would at least get 1 future 2nd trading #33 away.

Re: 2026 draft
I’m with you on this, Monster. If a guy our front office really likes is available at 33, then by all means they should take him. But like you, I’d be content to cash in 33 for a couple further second round picks. I also share your preference for signing a Jeremy Sochan - i.e., a current young NBA player with talent who won’t cost much.Monster wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2026 11:50 pm I'll say this...if the Wolves trade out of the #33 pick and get some future 2nds that aren't terrible I wouldn't hate that. Re: 2026 draft
I actually think the Wolves are going to draft someone in the 2nd round this year. You get a guy that doesn't need or expect playing time right away, won't cost us much, and yet is young and could may be turn into something down the line.Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2026 12:18 amI’m with you on this, Monster.
