Who will be cut, restructures, or traded to make this work.

Here are the reported details.

"The #Vikings are signing LB Anthony Barr to a 5-year deal worth $67.5M, source said. With incentives it can be worth $77.5M. He gets $33M in guarantees. And back home."

Honestly I'm not sure he is worth that and I didn't think they would go that high BUT some guys have been getting paid and you wonder if any FA olineman that's actually kinda good is gonna be able to be signed at all. I may rather have Barr at that number than pay some sorta decent olineman nearly 10 million. If all we are looking for is an olineman that is an upgrade from Remmers or whatever may as well not overpay. Just one way to look at it I'm not sure I would have signed Barr at this number. Supppsedly they have sent Griffin a restructure proposal. It will be interesting to see how that goes. We don't need to draft a LB now.

Market is crazy. Good 3rd WR are getting close to 10m a year.

I am guessing we go DT and OL in first 2 rounds of draft.

I had forgotten Ryan Kalil retired. I thought Paradis was going to get more than that.

The draft will be key here. Cody Ford or bust in the 1st round. He would be a great get for us. Plug him in at LG and forget about it. I would love to also get Bradbury who would be our center and allow us to move Elfein to RG which I think is his best position.

Rick Dennison took a Jets team that had the 30th ranked OL in 2017 and moved them to 10th in 2018 with pretty much the same players. I will be curious about what he does here.

Everson Griffin situation needs to get figured out before he locks in his wage tomorrow. I hope he restructures.

Pro Bowl defensive end Everson Griffen has agreed to the terms of a contract restructure, multiple sources told ESPN, and signed his deal around 3 p.m. CT on Thursday. To avoid becoming a cap casualty, Griffen agreed to drop his base salary from $10.9 to $6.4 million in 2019 while is weekly roster bonuses went from $500K to $1.5 million. Griffen's cap hit was initially $11,743,750 and is now $7,431,250, which created $4.3 million in cap space for the Vikings, who entered Thursday with $2.95 million in available spending money. More i
