Khans, I think people are calling it a mental problem rather than a "hands" problem because he catches all those passes in practice...so the fact that he isn't catching them in a game must mean something other than hands. Similarly, Carlson was supposedly making every kick in practice too, so again, it seems that his problem is more mental than physical.

Who knows if Treadwell will ever figure it out? Personally I have more confidence in a receiver getting over his mental issues than a kicker...catching a football seems more instinctive, while there's more time to mess with your mind if you're a kicker.

Do we look at Treadwell as a 1st round pick in which certain expectations should be met. Or do we look at him as the guy who should be thanking his lucky stars that Theilen and Diggs are here since fans just want him to block well and catch the ball every once in a while. Quite frankly his type of production ( or lack thereof) can't be that hard to replace. Just like with the kicker I dont wanna wait until he's dropping key passes in December before glueing him to the bench. That's a fool ya once type of deal.

Treadwell has a couple drops last week and one of them was likely running the wrong pattern. A couple of his drops aren't bad hands they were ones where he was doing the classic cardinal sin of taking off looking for extra yardage before securing the ball. One of the drops late in the game yesterday he clearly hurt his finger or something...or was faking it because he dropped it. lol jk I don't think he sounds like that type of guy from everything I have heard.

To me Treadwell is just another young possibly talented WR that works his butt off. There is nothing alwritten about this guy not working hard the probably has been working too hard and being too hard on himself. I think one way or another we are gonna find out what we have in him. Cousins is gonna throw to whoever is open or is the best opportunity. If Treadwell can't figure it out we will know in a few weeks.

Catching balls in practice is a real bad excuse to argue for a guy if that's what the coaches are doing. Practice just doesn't replicate a real game any more. NBA players hit most shots in practice. Hell Dwight has been known to drain free throws in practice and then goes 50-60% in the regular season. Having a skill in practice doesn't mean you have it in a real game so I'm sure some of it is mental with him, but he also doesn't seem to have the hands to overcome anything but full mental concentration that he doesn't have. He's just not good in multiple facets of being a WR so I would rather our coaches/GM not keep trying to find positives with him looking through a magnifying glass to find it and just treat it as it is. If you try to rely on him he's gonna come up short just like all these kickers we keep running through. They finally learned their lesson and moved on from Carlson when they should have so I would hope they do the same with Treadwell this summer.

A friend of mine mentioned that he saw something on Twitter about Coley having an adventure on a Kickoff that Fox went to commercial on before the play was over. I went back and watched the coaches tape and yes... So its in the 4th quarter Crosby kicks off and Coley catches the ball in the back of the end zone and goes down on one knee but doesn't seem to actually touch his knee to the ground. He sorta walks up the field and tosses the ball to the ref who clearly hasn't signaled for the touchback. The ref moves out of the way and Coley realizes just in time to get on the ball before a Packer comes flying in diving for the ball. Its hilarious and gave me some anxiety at the same time. I saw a tweet about some Giants fans that were wanting them to pick him up as a punt returner. =)

That is crazy. That could have been another twist in that adventure of a game. Where do you get the coaches tape?

You get it with an NFL game pass subscription. It's $99 and the main reason I get it is for the condensed game feature where you can watch an entire game in 35-40 mins. You can watch the full games pretty much right after the game ends. The condensed games are available 2-4 hours later. The coaches tape is available a couple days after the game. If you use a computer browser you can look up each play (just learned that today) so that's kinda fun but a rarely use it. I used it last year looking at Barr against the Packers and that was probably it. To me my time is worth something so if so save an hour or 2 on 5 games it's worth it. Plus if I don't have anything to do for a short time I can watch a game that was interesting in a little longer than it would be to watch a TV show. You get all the preseason games and the playoffs. Last year I watched nearly every playoff game because I could watch the condensed games. You can watch games on a computer or a tablet or smartphone mobile devices etc or a smart TV.

I caught that before they went to commercial and just find it funny how little Fox was paying attention. The whistle never blew. The ref literally got out of the way of the football Coley tossed to him and Fox just went to commercial during a live play. I was curious what the result was, but we got the ball back so I didn't really think too much more on it.

Anyone else worried about Bills this weekend? I know they are awful, but I feel like we are totally overlooking them.

In short...no. They're looking like an 0-16 team this year. It's just an absolute dumpster fire in Buffalo.
