Chandler is 30. Giving up 7 for him would be a huge win for Denver. If I want a 30 year old, I'd rather DeMarre Carroll who is better and instead of giving up the 7th pick, we get a pick back. Harkless would be the ideal option--young wing who I'd rather have than Chandler and we might get a pick in return.

Just out of curiosity if Jackson, Tatum and isaac all off the board are you ok with picking Dennis smith

Well, I hope someone unexpected like Monk or DSJ goes in the top 5. But if not, I'd be ready to try and trade into 5 or 6 in order to ensure we get one of the top wings, if the cost isn't prohibitive. Even if Isaac, Tatum and Jackson are all off the board, I would prefer to get the choice of whose left UNLESS someone absolutely blows us away with an offer. While I want one of the top wings, I think the next tier of interest for me includes Collins, Frank N, Monk, Markannen and Anunoby. Moving down doesn't really interest me at all unless my top tier guys are all off the board and we only move back a few spots so we can still get a guy in the next tier and pick up further picks or young talent like WCS.

If it helps us I would be down
I don't think it helps us, plus really helps Denver.

gotta take Markkanen if he's there and isaac is gone, he's too lethal in today's game especially with KAT
Re: Wolves 2017 Draft Thread
Interesting article on some draft expert dude that has his own draft service and he has NBA teams and othe teams pay for his services. He has some interesting comments on a couple prospects.

Can he guard Durant, kawhi or anyone really when teams go small in the playoffs.
I have zero interest in a guy who is a bad rebounder for his position. Will be mostly useless when teams go small because he can't guard them/He is not taking KAT spot in small ball lineups. And like LST said his one skill he has he was below average for 3+ months

When teams go small who exactly is going to guard him though? Viewing these playoffs has started to push me more towards individual offense versus individual defense like someone else said on this board I would rather try to dictate against the other team.

Oh, I think teams will gladly put a smaller player on him defensively and require him to make contested post-ups. Look at how Ryan Anderson was rendered pretty useless once San Antonio put a wing on him.

Markannen isn't a statue like Anderson though and he's 4 inches taller. Lauri can be an elite pick and pop big instead of strictly standing there. Ryan Anderson also has a a very average wingspan, I hear Lauri's isn't the greatest either but Ryan is the shortest 6"9 player possible if that makes any sense. Markkannen in my opinion won't be able to be solved with a small wing he will be able to shoot over any of them comfortably like Dirk.
