ESPN insider Brian Windhorst reports that a Kevin Love deal to Cleveland is basically done barring a last minute change. (1/2)

CLE will get Love, Wiggins & Thaddeus Young go to Minnesota and Anthony Bennett and picks go to Philadelphia is rumored to be a deal. (2/2)

I would hope Minnesota got picks back instead of Philly. Maybe Cool's idea of sending multiple picks to Philly and them giving one back could be in play?

I would think we would dump some contracts on 76ers.

And whatever the excuses are for why we didn't make the playoffs, we are now forced to go a different direction. I don't blame Love one bit for leaving, although my opinion of him has changed a bit. I like Love and wanted him to stay. Call it skill or call it luck, Flip is impressing the hell out of me with how he is retooling this team!

But Kevin Love was not the reason the Wolves didn't make the playoffs. I mean it's still a hell of a lot better to go into a different direction with Love then it is without

Still doesn't make sense. We would have 16 players under deals in that deal. Plus Philly needs to be adding salary to make the cap floor, not getting rid of.

I would assume at least Barea is included. Wouldn't surprise me if Mbah a Moute is as well.

Yeah, thank god we don't have a top-10 player in the NBA for at least another year to build around him, or at least have him under contract longer so his trade value was higher. That would have been completely awful. Luckily we had Kahn to save us from that horrible situation. :dizzy:

Sometimes your hate/dislike for Love is unreasonable. You think he's a dick, we get it. It's been clouding your judgement on this 'Love trade' topic this whole off-season, though. C'mon man.

Cam, I think we mostly agreed on this board that Kevin checked out at the end of last year. His depressed look in a post-game locker room interview made it clear that he was finished with this team. He continued to put up big numbers, but his defense got ridiculously worse, and frankly our best and most entertaining game of the last week of the season was the Houston game that he missed. I'm much more optimistic about the future than the Love years, and we're just going to have to disagree on the wisdom of the Love deal. Personally, I'm happy that I have some new talent to watch next year rather than an unhappy star.

Come on, what did you want him to do, be like Wes Johnson with a smile on his face on the bench? If he did that im sure you would of ripped him for being fake. You just gotta admit you hate Love and there really was nothing he could of done that would change it

I can't disagree here. That was a ridiculous statement to make lol. Worst case in that scenario we keep Love through this year and if we don't make it into say the 2nd round you can unload him next summer for a similar package as now. Only you'd know more what you have at that time.

I would do that deal. It won't be the Wolves pick the 76ers are getting
