I head to Vegas on Saturday it will be my first bet

Edit: 5000-1 right now at mgm I might put hundred down if he's healthy that might be a big pay day.

Don't know the result yet here. But I don't like Duffey backing up thelibar both curve ball guys.

I had a similar thought, but would have been more concerned if Thielbar and Duffey were the same handedness. Luckily, Duffey gets the inning-ending double play and we move on to the top of the ninth. I like Minnesota's odds in this one.

Wow. Taylor Rogers gets Miguel Cabrera to roll over and ground into the ole 5-4-3 double play to end the threat in the ninth. That was a great play all around.

Love Morneau on the broadcast. He was exactly right 5 years ago that's not a double play. Arraez legs would've been taken out immediately there.

I hate this rule so much. Why not let them play 2 real innings then go to this.

Yep. He's a real treat. So knowledgeable about the little things. And yeah, I agree. Arraez would have been upended 10 times out of 10.

And on the flip side, Polanco maybe scores on that ground ball if he's afforded the chance to plow the catcher. Instead he's having to slide feet first and tagged out. The game is just different now.

What play has a greater chance of scoring a run?

- Sending Polanco home from second base on a single to right field with zero outs?

- Sending Polanco home from third base on a ground ball to third with the infield playing in with one out?

If the idea is to be aggressive on the base paths and force the opposing team's defense to make a play, then I think you send Polanco on Cruz's single and live with the consequences.

Hard to say because you have Kepler and Buxton coming up as well.

Got to love a rule where you can lose a game and not give up a hit doing so.
