Im sorry he got injured but that was not a dirty play.

I think it was a dig at Steve Kerr.

Just watched the videos of all the ejections in this series and extensive video of the Ja Morant play and the one earlier where he makes contact with Klay and additionally lands awkwardly. I tend to give players the benefit of the doubt but officials can't know intent so they go by the criteria they are given to make these calls. I think both The ejections were reasonable. Green definitely intended to pull on the player's jersey.

Anyway the Poole grab or whatever doesn't remotely look like a dirty play to me. Grizzlies are beginning to sounds like a bunch of whiners. I'm starting to be more worried about him long term. Can he hold up or will he need to change the way he plays some or maybe even cut down his minutes? I hope he gets and stays healthy but...

Tonight the Heat blew out the Sixers with a starting backcourt of 2 undrafted guys that a few months ago a lot of people probably didn't even know existed. That's kinda awesome.

Two observations on that game:

1. The Miami crowd is lame. I mean, it certainly didn't feel like a playoff environment. May be they have been lulled into complacency due to all the success over the years.

2. Embiid was a total mess. I think it was a combination of being in severe pain in multiple places (back, face, thumb) and pouting over not winning the MVP. Heck, his countenance reminded me of a classic KAT pouting performance.

I didn't see the game, but I'm pleased with the outcome. I'm not a Heat fan, but I really can't stand Morey or Harden so I want to see the Sixers eliminated. I'm continuing to pull for the Bucks as my team in the East, but it's looking like it will be the Celtics coming out on top in that series. I'll probably adopt the Celtics as my team in the East against the Heat or Sixers.

It will be interesting to see how things shake out in the West. The Suns got it together to take the series lead, but the Mavs are really good right now and the Suns still look vulnerable. The Warriors seem to be firing on all cylinders, but their lack of size might catch up with them against the Suns or Mavs.

Seems to me that the most talented team remaining right now is the Sixers. But that's on paper. Harden doesn't look like the player he once was and Embiid is physically hurting. I'd still see the Bucks as the team to beat if they hadn't lost Middleton, but without him I don't see the Bucks getting past the Celtics.

Thanks for the report Q. I find Embiid annoying even though obviously he is a terrific player. I do feel a little bit bad for him. The guy keeps getting injured and I'm glad he is able to come back and play. It would not shock me if he was grumpy about not winning the MVP although I think there were 3 players that could have won it this year and I would have been like ok that's cool. It would not be great if that affected him on the court though.

I think any team left right now except Memphis could end up in the finals. This is a bit like last year where it was a bit more fun because you didn't know who was actually gonna win it all. I probably would be less thrilled with either the Heat or the Sixers winning it but I could come up with reasons I would be cool with that too. I'm probably cheering for the Suns in the WC. Chris Paul isn't gonna be able to keep playing forever and other than Chris Paul I can't think of anyone I would cheer against.

Yeah, hard not to root for Milwaukee, as I find myself gravitating toward that squad again. Giannis is the ultimate leader. But yeah, Boston is REALLY good. Al Horford has just been ridiculously good. Man, I have wanted that guy playing next to KAT for 5 years now. Literally has zero weaknesses.

I think the winner of Dallas/Phoenix or the winner of the Boston/Milwaukee series wins it all. One of those four teams.

Remember when Horford was overpaid and over the hill? I thought he could still play but was still overpaid. That trade is certainly looking good at this point. They even moved Moses Brown to Dallas for Josh Richardson who was an asset in adding Derrick White. I watched most of the 4th quarter of the last Celtics Bucks game. Horford had that one dunk where he got past Giannis and got as excited and pumped up as I have ever seen him. Giannis looked so tired but that dude was ballin but the Bucks just could not get enough stops. I was watching on Twitter so I was watching the cameras from the arena instead of the broadcast. I missed some things but I also kinda like seeing some of the angles you get watching that way. What's the status of Robert Williams health?

Chris Paul was overpaid and over the hill too. There is definitely a point where it goes, but a big with Horford's intelligence who relies on positioning more than overwhelming athleticism can extend their career.
