I'm excited about Bolmaro joining the Wolves next season. The Rosas regime has won me over when it comes to their evaluation of young somewhat under-the-radar talent. Bolmaro's arrival will take away some of the sting in not having a draft pick this year. It will be interesting to see how Rosas deals with payroll. It's important to stay below the luxury tax threshold to avoid repeat-offender penalties that would limit some of the team's transactional flexibility. No lottery team should be paying the luxury tax.

Bolmaro with another solid game in a win. He didn't put up huge numbers, but had an efficient outing. Again, all you have to do is look at the final score to know that the Euro game is a shit-ton different than the NBA. It puts his rather modest volume numbers in perspective...

You can see the flash of talent and he doesn't lack effort. I think he's Satoransky if everything goes wrong, with much high potential if everything goes right. Glad we have him!

Leandro Bolmaro had 10pts, 5ast & 4stl in yesterday's game against Betis. After starting the season on a cold stretch, Bolmaro is now on 42.9% from three-point range for the season; 55.8% since January according to @InStatBasket. https://t.co/ZNUmj9Dbaa

Yes, good to see him shooting it well this season, but he's had 69 total 3-pt attempts on the season. That isn't very many. Compare that to Edwards' 487 3pt attempts this season, LOL!

The good news is Bolmaro is also making his free throws at a high rate, so perhaps we can allow ourselves some cautious optimism about his 3-pt shot. I just have a hard time trusting it on only 69 attempts and no prior history of being a very good shooter.

Another efficient productive game from Bolmaro. This one he really got a sweat in. At times he was matched up with P Henry the guard the Wolves were/are reportedly interested in signing.

Yeah, Bolmaro continues to shoot the ball well - he was 4-8 from beyond the arc in this one. I'm not completely trusting his shot yet, as his mechanics don't look great to me. But they're going in (for now) and that's what matters.

Love the fact he's out there playing with Pau Gasol. That will really help him I think.

What don't you like about his mechanics?

He doesn't seem to get ideal arc and his release seems a bit slow. I hope I'm wrong.

I was watching a couple videos a few days about Bolmaro's shot. One actually showed how long it took to get off his shot and said it was actually very quick. Another video pointed out he likes to have a dip in his shot but he does have pretty good shot preparation. In the latest video you notice he doesn't just stand around in one spot he was relocating to get a better angle and for the passer to get him the ball for a 3. It kinda feels like watching highlights Bolmaro gets it/knows how to play. I might have to watch a full game one of these days. When Bolmaro was shooting poorly maybe he wasn't getting arc on the ball (I think I do remember that also) but I haven't seen that be a problem lately but it's something to be watching for. He has a pretty high release which for a guy with his height and length will help him if he can make the shots in general. There won't be many guys blocking his shot on the perimeter. Overall right now he just looks like a comfortable shooter which could go away but I'm feeling a heck of a lot better about it now than a few months ago. That FT percentage is another reason to feel legitimately positive about his shooting.
