Apollo, that's a personal decision. Whether anyone else needs less or more shouldn't matter to you.

"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news."
"Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did"
Reagan's domestic advisor:

"You start out in 1954 by saying, "N****r, n****r, n****r." By 1968 you can't say "nigger"--that hurts you, backfires. So you say stuff like, uh, forced busing, states' rights, and all that stuff, and you're getting so abstract. Now, you're talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you're talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is, blacks get hurt worse than whites.... "We want to cut this," is much more abstract than even the busing thing, uh, and a hell of a lot more abstract than "N****r, n****r."
(I edited the above comment to add some * replacing the actual letters)
These policies are still in place, its only gotten worse. They designed the system we live in right NOW, today.
For the couple that point to jesus as the answer - can you point to the part that shows black people need more jesus? Based on this site, black people outpace white people across the board. Do black people have the wrong flavor of jesus? Is there a particular kind that makes white people more righteous?

Another personal experience - right before my first combat mission they sent the chaplain around to tell us it was ok to kill people - that was literally the message, god said it was ok to kill those people...
Maybe we need less jesus
I guess it is the type of Jesus. Less machine gun Jesus maybe? Thank you for sharing this window into your experience as a soldier. That chaplain sounds like a challenging representation of his profession.

apollotsg wrote:I would like to point out that on the history channel right now they are talking about the CIA operation to push crack in the black community in California. I assume many of you have seen the Tom Cruise movie American Made - he was delivering the drugs to CIA mules in the states. Its the same classified operation.
So at the same time that administration pushed HARD on the war on drugs, they secretly fueled the crack epidemic in California and used that as further evidence to target the black community. They specifically targeted the black community - they purposely targeted the black communities - the CIA designed an entire covert international operation to fund illegal arms trafficking through the sale of drugs to a specific race in our country. The President of the united states, his VP who happens to be the former director of the CIA, they all knew and they purposely traffic crack to the black community in California.
Again - here is the obviously limited unclassified public version:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CIA_involvement_in_Contra_cocaine_trafficking
Not to mention Crack which is Cocaine and baking soda was highly punished and I think still is while just have cocaine, well that's not that big of a deal. Not only was it's mass incarcerating black people but ALSO POOR people in general. Being poor is almost a crime. Like how homeless are treated as well.
We can clearly see that attacking poor and minorities has been the goal of the Federal GOV for a long time. Anything to keep them down.

Are they also going to pre-fill out the ballots and just have the voters sign them?

Haha. I wouldn't worry about it. Those people will be purged from the rolls before they get there.
