Not sure I'd be willing to spend much more than that. He certainly has skills as a scorer. But it isn't enough to make up for his defensive limitations IMO. I'm not suggesting we just dump him for nothing, but it feels like that is a position we could potentially upgrade this next offseason.

There is another half a season of basketball left for us to evaluate Naz among other players. I don't know how much I would pay Naz either but I think at this point I can see him getting offers of well over 5 million maybe even more just because he has some ability (especially shooting the 3) and will still be young with potential. If you aren't willing to pay that kind of money then the Wolves should look at moving him at some point. Cam Reddish just netted Atlanta a protected 1st round pick...I actually really like Naz but that would be something I would consider if Naz hasn't made another jump (or even regressed a little) in his game.

The thing with Naz he hasn't proved he can play with Kat what really hurts his value. So he will always be a backup center in the context of the Wolves. I would look to move Naz for the right price. That 1st the Hawks got is actually the Hornets pick and it's heavily protected.

.....a backup Center that is the size of a PF and the footspeed of a Center. Not a great combination defensively.
