Agreed with this.

Hey towns gave thibs a big hug after the win. Apparently wiggins had a huge smile on his face taking about thibs on the radio. Hope we can build on this.

Best defense all year

My favorite hockey player was Cam Neely, but I was never going to be a power winger. Know your role.

Can't complain about much from this game if you forget the first quarter actually happened. LaVine and Dieng were great on both ends, but that's not a surprise to me. They've been pretty consistent all season long, in my opinion. Wiggins made some big shots, played some tough isolation defense on an All-NBA player, and attacked the glass. Like to see him when he plays with motivation. Towns brought the effort, was a half-step late on rotations that first period, but made his impact later in the game. Bullied Gibson on the block one play, blocked his shot the next possession, blocked Butler on the outback attempt, sprinted down the floor and Rubio rewarded him with an easy dunk.

Speaking of Rubio, I thought his energy was great. How many hustle plays did he make? Felt like he was everywhere. Tonight was the Rubio we need.

What the hell happened? I get home from my weekly pickup game and catch the last 4 minutes of the game. I'm in shock and a little woozy right now. I thought I saw defense played....heard of some kind of comeback....can't.....comprehend........(thud).

Noticed Jimmy Butler also walked over to Thibs after the game and gave him a hug. Butler and Gibson walked over to him pre-game too. You see those efforts, you read about Noah saying he missed him and all that, you hear Rose talk about going to dinner with him and how often he stuck up for him, and you just see that Thibs does connect with players despite what some articles say about him.

Agree with you Cam, I'm almost embarrassed for Kat with this interview. I'm behind, watching it now. I I I I I, talk all about himself. With about a minute left when he missed Zack for a wide open 3 then turned it over. That play was the season in a nutshell. So pissed.

Any link? Or quotes from it that you didn't like?

Rubio played well but was still exploited quite a bit on offense. Mcbuckets has never guarded a PG in his life especially in down the stretch of a close game. They werent guarding him, but he played well for his low standards. I seriously think Lavine could be our PG of the future. Somebody said it earlier, he's our leader no question.

Exactly. Talked way too much about himself, staying with this "I'm the leader" persona. Leadership is earned. For me, he hasn't done anything to earn it. Absolutely hated the tidbit about how he supposedly told Thibs that he'd get him this win. Play as a team on both ends of the floor and you all (Wolves) will get Thibs wins consistently! It's not a one man job.

To be fair, he did throw Zach and Andrew a bone about how they had great games and he loves having teammates that can pick up his slack when he's struggling, and that's okay, but man, he needs to check his ego.
