I think that is the smartest move. Ant can take a last second shot way easier then KAT and get a good look. You don't want to leave time, so if an action is run for KAT it probably leaves time for Indy to win or tie.

I didn't like the shot. Why not drive hard into the paint and at least try to get a foul or kick out. We were tied, not down by 3.

You need to run the clock out though. It was the smart play.

Towns has improved his defense a lot so far this season. I'd say that he's been a pretty good defender this season overall. But he plays small. He doesn't defend vertically. Too often he crouches or fails to extend his arms vertically.

Every single NBA coach does the same thing, you win or go to OT. Not drive get fouled with 3 seconds left hit a couple then lose on a last second 3.
