This is exactly what I was worried about in terms of injuries and depth. This team barely got to 3-2 with a 100% healthy roster. A couple guys get nicked up for this one and suddenly we're losing at home by double digits to one of the worst teams in basketball. This might be one of the least gritty, least resilient franchises in the history of professional sports.

Felt like I was watching the Wolves of old. Patrick Beverley being out and D'Angelo Russell getting injured was a killer.

So glad I didn't see this one!! Why was Beverley out and how what's DLO's injury?

Beverley has a calf injury.

Dlo has ankle sprain. Stepped on an ankle when fighting over a screen (his D was good again)

Well, that'll teach him for playing hard defense! That's the end of that little experiment!

- Wolves played like they knew Orlando sucks balls (which they most certainly do)... and it came back to bite them. Yet again. Meh. Wolves being the Wolves. Kinda a self-fulfilling prophecy at this point.

- Unimpressed with Suggs tonight. So little separation and seems to struggle with the most basic NBA things.

After watching Suggs in play a number of college games, I came to the same conclusion Abe. He seemed more Rajon Rondo than Dame Lillard or Chris Paul. And these days, you better be a REALLY good version of Rajon Rondo to make it as a starting-level PG in the NBA.

I was thinking a slightly upgraded Killian Hayes or Frank Nkitilika.

After every game the bloated expectations we had for some of our players is the deflating feeling that this team might just be the same squad it was last year. Beverly isn't gonna change the culture of this team. He's just a solid role player. He's not Rodman and the Wolves ain't the 90s Bulls.

It comes back to shot-making, though. Either this team's best offensive weapons are going to be ass for the entire season (unlikely) or they'll perform much closer to their career averages or what they've done in recent seasons. I've been okay with the shots the offense has created through every game except the second New Orleans game. The Wolves just aren't cashing them in. This loss is yet another embarrassing and ugly one to add to the collection, but I have to think these struggling players start playing up to par... hopefully soon.

Our half court offense is terrible this season. Horrible shooting percentages. Another game under .400 on FGM, under .300 on 3pt FGM. Stagnant offensive sets with constant ISO reliance on Edwards or DLO who force a shot or pass. Edwards thinking he's Stephen Curry. Zero ball movement and minimal player movement. Painful to watch.
