I'm sort of neutral to "meh" on Gordon. He definitely looks the part in terms of what might fit in our system and with KAT. But then you peel the onion back and the advanced stats don't seem to think much of his defense. He's not a terrible defender, but not nearly as good as one would expect given his athleticism and reputation. Even his box score defensive numbers aren't that great. He averages less than 2 blocks/steals combined per game. That just seems odd given his profile.
Jonathan Isaac, now THAT would be someone I'd be interested in, but I have a feeling he's the very person that makes Gordon expendable to Orlando. Of course, he has issues staying healthy, so no one is perfect I guess.

I would suggest caution when projecting the type of player who fits into the "current" NBA. And the reason is the league is always evolving. The cool thing in 5 years is not going to be the same as it is today. In fact I would argue the successful teams of tomorrow will not be the copycats of today (Wolves). So I would draft the best player and then be innovative to take the best advantage of your teams' strengths. If Wiseman is the best guy, grab him and figure out how to beat the rest of the league with him.

Good news everyone. We passed the Knicks! Currently tied for 2nd place.
Re: Tank Status Tracking
If the season ended today, the Wolves would have the third most lottery balls.

The Warriors win their way, the Wolves win on theirs!

They would be tied for 1st. Lotto odds are flat now.
Also statistically speaking the pick the wolves have the highest odds to get is 6th and on average wolves would get the 4.1 pick

I assume the numbers you stated come from the below website. So what I take from this if it's accurate is basically the advantage of finishing worse is...in relation to the worst case scenario. Right now GS worst case scenario is the 5th pick while the Wolves its 7th. Picks 1-4 the worst 3 teams have equal chances at getting those picks.

Below is a projected rookie salary cap scale for next season. Remember rookies can sign for 80%-120% of this scale. The cap savings isn't particularly significant but...it would suck to have a number 1 overall pick bust because they cost quite a bit. We have seen a similar situation play out with Fultz although he looks like he will at least be in the league for a while now.

I don't think Rosas really knows what he wants to do, so right now he's just emulating the Rockets and Nets because that's all he knows. I think initially he wanted to have a team that shot a lot of 3's but would be more balanced than Brooklyn on Houston on defense but once he saw the team play and then got Russell he gave up on defensive competence.

Correct. For all the love of the tank. The highest odds are that wolves get the 6th pick

Abe on repeat:
The Wolves have given us A LOT of embarrassing moments over 31 years of NBA basketball.
To finish as the 2nd worst team in a season that started with them having TWO #1 draft picks (in their prime, or close to it) might top all of them.
Considering where Gorgui Dieng and Robert Covington are today... more minutes for better teams... I'm thinking they're pretty happy about the trades.
