Cam, you and I agree that rubio can 'help' us win games some nights. But i want a point guard that can win us games and consistently help us win most nights. Your correct that rubio defies logic at times. He cant shoot but still make plays for his teammates. But there is a difference if your playing with a real pg who can score. Things open up for everybody. I agree that rubio is not as bad as some make him out to be. But he clearly is not your main pg if you are looking to achieve big things.

That is amazing

Wow. Didnt realize that until you point that out. Shows we absolutely needs to keep the core 3 intact.

I loved how Tyus used his dribble to probe the middle of the floor, he got the defender on his back a couple times on the side PnR, where he changed direction instead of being forced to go wide near the sideline/baseline, which Rubio does all the time!!! Crazy to see a PG get in the lane!! What a crazy thing.

They just don't watch enough ball across the league to make some of the comments they do. And on top of it, they're almost completely unaware of what advanced statistics are and how they're used in today's game. That's probably why they still think Carmelo Anthony is worth a shit.

As for Rubio, he's not perfect nor is he a complete liability. Depending on the night, he can absolutely help you win or he'll fail to make an impact. You kind of know what you're getting with him. And he's still the best option we have on hand, though I'd like to see more of Jones because wow are we misusing him by not using him at all.

Given the choice of one or the other, I'll take their insight over advanced statistics any day. Stats support arguments Cam, not make them.

On the contrary, stats can also prove that what you're (general term) saying is unsupported bullshit derived from your own imagination and the majority of what comes out of those guys mouths is just flat out inaccurate.

I think what makes their takes kind of meh for me is that they didn't play in this era. They don't really understand this era because of that. How many times do I need to hear Barkley say that "jump shooting teams can't win a championship" while he completely ignores the defensive side of the ball? How many times do I need to hear Jalen Rose talk about Rubio as though he's the worst defender at the position, and then listen to him talk about Kyrie's improvements (!?) on that end.

They're there for entertainment purposes, IMO, not real analysis.

Ouch. I guess I'll crawl back to my hole.

Wolves were 0 - 10 in games decided by 4 points or less until last night.

In a game where Rubio didn't see the court in the 2nd half comeback.

Didn't the wolves start like 0-13 with rubio at point back in loves last year in close games. So let's move it to 88.56% trolling

I watched this game this afternoon. It made the day really have a nice feeling to it.

Ok first of all I have to get this out there and then I will post more comments later...I can't decide which color guy annoys me more Webber or Reggie Miller. I think Webber actually does some research but I think he says even more ridiculous stuff. You think he would change is narrative some after hearing Thibs yell stud to his players that Webber was saying he doesn't emphasize.

Bingo. Their analysis is suspect and often ridiculous. I don't take them seriously, but to each his own.
