Martin would be the guy. If they gave up on Staukaus quickly I could see them doing it with McLemore.

I like KJ McDaniels too and he's not getting a lot of minutes in Houston.

Guys who interest me that aren't getting many minutes also include Portis, Mickey, John Henson, Ty Zeller and James Johnson.

Portis would be my top target. I think he would be perfect next to Towns for years to come.

I don't know if they would necessarily want players. Didn't they give up draft picks in a ridiculous trade in the offseason with (?) Philly?
But that's the type of organization I'm looking to trade with... an inept front office that's clueless in every way so far.

I read a little on Mclemore. Sounds like he is back in the good graces for now and Cousins is backing him so that's good for him.
There are some interesting possibly reasonable wing players to target that have been mentioned. You never know what kind of decent gem you can uncover. Powell was sort of a throw in for Dallas in that terrible Tondo true last year and he has been pretty good for them.
Let's remind ourselves that Whiteside is an outlier. He had issues had talent but looked clueless out there his first couple year out of college. The parallels to Upshaw are pretty strong, talent, shot blocking, physical gifts etc. I think it's clear he has issues I would prefer to stay away from guys like that. The young players on the Wolves seem like good dudes I don't want to add a moronic knucklehead. We used to have a roster loaded with guys with some sort of issue and those guy are all out of league right now. Right now I would take a chance on some interesting guy that feel through the cracks and landed in the D league just missing a roster spot that is either a rugged defending wing or rugged PF type. I am not down on Rudez and I don't mind him being on the roster as long as it looks like we may have a shot at a playoff spot because I believe he can play (LST he got a rebound last game!) but if that chance goes away or someone really catches the Wolves eyes...yeah let him go and pick up a young guy.

These teams that are struggling might be trade targets.

Good stuff for the playoff believers (or am I the only one?), as they have the Wolves right behind Memphis (who can't shoot) for the 8th playoff spot. It's on!
