What can you do they made big shots, tip the cap and move on to the next one

Yeah, I agree. At least the 2nd half was much better basketball by both teams. I'm feeling pretty good about coming back home after that half.

Bjelica was hot and he needs more minutes than KMart, preferably he gets a shot in the starting lineup. KAT needs at least 30 minutes. Rudez should be given more minutes, especially when we need to close a deficit--he got more than 15 minutes a game for the Pacers but we are only playing him half as much.

Hard to be too pissed after reeling off 3 straight wins and playing on the road against the Clips.

- Dieng is definitely playing better lately, but when we needed a couple of stops at the end, he was too slow to close out on Griffin and then Paul on those mid-range jumpers. That's one thing both KAT and KG can do - close out on shooters. Both Griffin and Paul got clean looks. It's not that Gorgs made a bad play, he just doesn't have the fast-twitch reflexes to contest better.

- It was nice to see LaVine recover from a pretty poor 1st half. He played a solid second half of ball.

- The Clipper bench is very uninspiring. Rivers-Josh Smith-Lance Stephenson- Jamaal Crawford. Ugh. That's a lot of chuckers and knuckleheads in one unit. There is no way they can get through a 7-game series against Golden State or San Antonio.

- Shabazz Muhammed appears to have stalled a bit. I'm surprised Mitchell doesn't run more sets to get him the ball in his sweet spot in the post.

- Towns has such a buttery jump shot. I was thinking it might be another year or two before we see volume 3's from him, but I can see Mitchell gradually loosening the reigns this season based on the early results. On the other hand, you don't want him to completely abandon the post-up game. But against a beast like Jordan, the perimeter jumper can really open the floor up for others.

- While the Clippers definitely got their unfair share of calls today, the refs swallowed the whistle on an obvious Wiggins travel late in the game when he made that tough post-up hoop and changed his pivot foot. It's amazing they don't call that, yet if you just barely drag your foot before a dribble-drive, they blow the whistle.

- I saw at least three illegal screens from Jordan/Griffin, but the refs refuse to call them for it. I can guarantee you if Bjelica or Towns were setting those exact same screens, they would have been fouls.

OK, back home. Let's hope we can pick up where we left off.

Hate to beat a dead horse here, but Mitchell calling that timeout down 4 with 7 minutes left in the 3rd was just plain stupid. We had all the momentum at that point, looked confident, and instead he calls the timeout, the Clippers regroup and go on a 7-0 run. Granted we were probably going to lose the game anyway, but you never know if not calling a timeout there could have made a difference.

That said, not a bad effort without Rubio--the Wolves have closed the gap on the Clippers, that's for sure.

We already have a playoff spot locked up, no need to play Rubio :thumb:
