Yeah, I'm still sticking with my 35. We all know the impact Ricky Rubio makes. I also don't think Wiggins will look this terrible when the regular season starts. He might never be a superstar, but right now he's barely looking like a rotation player. I can't expect that to continue.

It's hard to figure out, isn't it Cam? I understand a veteran mailing it in during pre-season, but not a 20-year-old kid. Even his defense on the perimeter last night was atrocious...in fact all of our SFs appeared disinterested in guarding the perimeter last night. Did they not know McDermott can shoot?

I liked Mitchell benching him last night, and it actually looked like it had an impact when he returned in the 4th quarter...both offensively and defensively. That's the Wig I want to see 35 minutes a game. The jury is still out on Mitchell and the board is understandably divided on whether he's up to the job, but I think he might be the right guy to light a fire under Wiggins. I don't want to see that enormous talent go to waste.

A few points:

Well we don't have rubio playing, the engine that makes us go. We saw the difference last year, and its no different now. He has even more weapons around him when he does play. A more rounded team.
( I see Cam already mentioned this)

The vets are not exerting energy in these meaningless games, and its very possible Wiggins and others are knowing to pace themselves as well.He has nothing to prove to me in these games, and its very liKely he plays 82 games with 30+ mins a night again this year. I for one don't want him going all out in preseason and risking injury. Save it for the regular season. Just a bunch of knee-jerk reactions to a whole lot of nothing.

But doesn't the same thing apply to our opponents?

There is certainly room for improvement. But when you consider the clown car that delivers our coaching staff to the arena every night, you have to wonder how much improvement we can realize.

Cool I do think the coaching staff has some guys that will be good for individual player development. I think the question about this staff that nearly everyone has is overall system/strategy/X's and O's especially when it comes to defense. The Wolves brought in some guys from outside the organization the last couple months and that is a good sign to me. Gates is a guy that seems to be highly thought of.

It's a joke of a staff. I can't think of a worse one in the league.

After seeing Ricky out for the first two games, I would already like to drop my win total by 6. This team hasn't played any significant minutes with Rubio, and that will undoubtedly sacrifice wins early on. I am also questioning whether this guy can play a full season at this point, which is another 5-10 wins.

That's not a good one either Monster. Good grab.
