Here are some guys who piqued my interest for the 2nd round picks and are projected to be available:
1. Chris McCullough
2. Christian Wood
3. Jordan Mickey
4. Cedi Osman (Turkish player we could stash)
5. Cliff Alexander
6. Robert Upshaw
7. Pat Connaughton
Guys who I'd like to sign as free agents: Michael Qualls, Cory Hawkins (48.8% three point shooter and son of former NBA player Hersey Hawkins), Tyler Harvey

I think Qualls gets drafted. Was productive enough on that Arkansas team.

Didn't Qualls just blow out his ACL? Don't think anyone drafts him. Maybe signed as FA.

Ahh, you're right. I didn't see that he had blown out his knee in a workout. That's too bad.

I like Mickey, Alexander, and Woods on that list.

Pat Connaughton, he's got great role player potential if put in the proper situation. He lead the team in rebounds, blocks, 3's and is very athletic. He also was a pretty solid defender as well often defending guys much bigger than him. Against UK he either defended WCS or Lyles most of the game and he held his own.

Connaughton is a stud. Problem is he is probably a better baseball pitcher (he hits 97)

What's the problem? Let him pitch for the Twins and when the season is over come on over and play basketball. Should be fine. Lol

Center 6'-11"
255 lbs
Age 20
Reach 9'-1"
Positives
-Big, physical
-Likes to play in the paint
-Good rebounder
-Showings signs of a face-the-basket game
Negatives
-Not an elite athlete
-Playing against weak competition in Spain
I too like Hernangomez even more than Gudaitis. I just find it difficult to believe that he would last past Spurs 1st round pick in this years draft. Even though Hernangomez is not athletic, he is producing some real numbers in ACB. He plays in same team than Porzingis and they are producing currently pretty much similar stats. Hernangomez seems to be better rebounder and Porzingis is much better shot blocker. If Guillermo would be as young than Porzi, he could be late lottery pick in this draft. Even though he is already 21 he is not that old, just 14 months older than Porzi. If he is available at 31st pick, I would definitely take him.
BTW. I don't agree that he is playing against weak competition in Spain. After NBA and Euroleague, ACB is 3rd toughest basketball league in world. His team is also playing Eurocup, which I don't consider as good than ACB but it means that he plays regularly against pretty good teams from other European countries as well.
