Am I crazy, or is Frank Kaminsky WAY better than people give the guy credit for?! He outplayed Okafor, Cauley-Stein, and Towns. His numbers were crazy good. He was the best player on the championship team. Everybody talks about Towns' PER setting him apart from Okafor . . . umm, Kaminsky's was higher! Yeah, he's a couple years older, which is part of why I wouldn't take him over Towns or Okafor at all, but does this guy deserve to be the butt of jokes? C'mon.
Kaminsky will be good and I think he's underrated because of his age, but I don't think he has much chance to be great and that's what GMs with top 10 picks want.
I don't even think the Frye or Hawes comparisons are THAT terrible. Although both played poorly this season.

I would not trade Bazz. I would've ditched him for sure after his first year, but that guy was arguably our second-best player on the court last year. It would be nice if he had more of a defensive game, but the dude just pulls points out of his hat. I wouldn't trade him.
I'm a huge fan of two way players. That's why I love Towns and Winslow and think Russell is overrated. Shabazz is better than I thought he would be, but I would swap him for a two way player like Winslow without hesitation. Would I trade him for Portis? Not sure.
Is Winslow still a legit 2-way player on the wing?
Didn't he measure shorter than most people thought? I thought I read where he's only about 6'4." And I also read where his lack of handles and ability to create are his greatest weaknesses.
So, pushing him into a position where he'll need to do that more often? Maybe that's why some of the steam of him flying up the draft has subsided. I like the guy... but not as a guard. He won't have to play guard, right?

I'm not sure where the lack of handle and ability to create scouting report came from, but that is pretty far off. His best offensive weapon was getting to the rim and finishing which requires a good handle and is a great means of creating offense. The dude flat out assaults the rim when he gets the ball and rarely settles for jumpers that are contested. He measured shorter than hoped, but he could definitely play the two with his handle and how he attacks the rim. The way he drives to the hole is in the mold of Harden and Ginobili with the eurosteps to create the extra space needed to get the shot off.
