Go ahead and keep trying to mock the narrative of KG being such a positive influence off the court, alex, as if there is a lot of support for that notion. I'm hearing a lot more people argue that KG's value as being only on the court, not as an off-court mentor. The young players universally talk about KG as a terrific mentor, but I conclude that they are talking about what they can learn from his on the basketball court, not what they can learn from him away from it. It seems to me like you are trying to pick a fight, but there isn't anybody on the other side! Does anyone want to step up and argue that KG is a great influence on the Wolves players off the court? If not, let's just put this one to bed...it's getting tiresome.

I mock the hypocrisy of if all. How long do you think KG has actually hung out with the young guys so far? A month at most? I guess they do text each other though. Those "work hard kid and you'll be great!" texts are probably helping Wiggins 3 point game skyrocket

Hmm...didn't see him yesterday, but my seats were looking across at the non-bench side. I'll look closer today in what should be a more empty arena.

If he is there, it's a bonus I think. I'm not seeing any prominent teammates in the stands. I don't think there is any expectation that the vets attend.

Maybe he was mentoring Bennett when to split a pair of jacks when the dealer is showing a 6, or what kind of hooker to get to blow on your dice at the craps table

They had indicated he was in Vegas to sign the contract. Not sure he would attend a game. His value would be at practice, but I don't know he even did that...

Which game was that?

Yeah he showed something when playing against Towns making it tough to shoot over him. He also had 2 terrible offensive fouls one on a simply terrible screen and another one where he ran over Towns moving without the ball. Physically the guy has everything you can ask for. He seems like a guy that makes a lot of sense to take a flyer on for a cheap contract.
