He's hurt.

Also shams reported Culver will not play in summer league

What sort of injury does Nowell have? Bummer that Culver isn't playing. I thought he's a gym rat who plays all the time. I'm
Watching all these teams play their picks who've gone longer than Culver without playing. I know it's not a big deal in the scheme of things and I don't want to see Culver hurt, but just add it to the list of things with the Wolves organization that irritate me.

I'm more annoyed with the league on the stupid trade rule instead of the wolves. If the league was run rationally when it comes to when trades come through Culver would be playing

Not playing Culver actually seems like a somewhat surprising progressive move to me. We have an athletic performance group? Who are we a professional sports team?!?

Meanwhile the Wolves have been playing well without both of their draft picks. Summer league is a nice thing for guys to play in but if your young player hasn't really got up to speed in your system how beneficial is it really? Maybe the guys that are playing now fall on their face the next couple games but if they keep playing well like they have to me there is also a bit of meritocracy too. You guys played well we are gonna let you keep playing. It also gives Okogie more chance to play as well. He may need the reps as much maybe more than Culver. He has some good instincts but his feel for the game offensively is pretty raw/out of control. It might also give them a look at another young player they may not have seen as much. After having some bad luck in terms of injury etc...which has still continued to some extent with Culver Nowell it's nice to see a good summer league group with some talent and playing hard and also seems to have some clue about what to do while doing it.

I'm looking forward to seeing DJ Wilson play. So far the Wolves defense continues its high energy and effectiveness. Heck of a contest by okogie on the fast break.

Naz Reid has a legit shot. Geez, all net every single time. And he doesn't force it.

This is my 1st game I've watch. He likes to let it fly. But they are going in.

I'm liking Ried

Okogie has been out of control again

Okogie just doesn't look ready to take the next step offensively. Pump fakes way too much, short-arm finishes, then when he does rise up for a shot, tries to weasel his way into a cheap foul with off balance bricks that don't draw a whistle. Not good.
