Interesting that even when Tyus was out the Murry kid played a lot of the PG and not Dunn.

Payne looked more solid 1st quarter. 2nd quarter it seems like it started down hill the wrong way. He has had a couple solid plays though.

Monster, You'll need to watch the full game. The Payne nightmare continues.

Thanks for posting that. I wish he would have finished that play by drawing the foul instead of fading away.

Yeah, it's obvious they are trying to see how he does playing next to another PG. I wouldn't even say that he played SG tonight because there were times he brought it up and he ended up guarding Mudiay, Denver's PG. I would just characterize him as a good old fashioned guard tonight, without distinction. That's kind of how it used to be back in the day, right?

Oh I watched nearly all the 2nd half. The only way it could have been worse was if he was wearing a clown suit....Jk I'm not scared of clowns but now I'm gonna be laughing every time I watching Payne because I'll probably be imagining him in a clown suit.

Mudiay is basically the size of a SG like Dunn. Murray seemed like a better matchup for Tyus.

Edit: Dunn played a lot like an attacking SG in this game. Those Wade comps aren't completely ridiculous.

No reason to have Dunn play anymore in summer league. Kid looked good.

We basically had two NBA players on the floor tonight, both PG's. I think that was the biggest reason he was off the ball. Obviously if Rubio is on the team he will be the one moving off the ball some, because Ricky doesn't have that ability.

Clarke may still show something. He made a lot of the right rotations and walled up. On offense there were quite a few times. He spaced out to the right spot for a wide open 3 but nobody got it to him. He made a few solid passes to open guys.

Murray was probably the other guy that looked like he had something. Not sure if any of the other bigs did Much in he 2nd half but they had to have been better than Trainwreck Payne.
