There has been a few times in this game he helped too much. Not sure what the deal is with that.

I thought KAT was very good on both ends.He played tough and had his post game going. The team failed him by not getting him any touches in the 4th. 12rebs, 2asts, 3 stls, 4 blks
Rose and Taj did their thing.
Wiggins offense was bad, but I thought he was active 6rebs, 2 asts, 1stl, 2 blks.
Jimmy got some points at the end, but he was sleepwalking, out of shape, or didnt care for most of the game.

We have no offense off the bench with Rose starting. Tyus is going to come cheap this offseason. His weakness becomes pretty clear when not surrounded by 3 or 4 offensive weapons.

This post is how I feel also. One other thing is I thought Boban was gonna absolutely kill us. The Wolves were up to the task and I thought cosidering its a weak point of the team Boban and Harrell Didn't kill us. They had good stats but I was expecting worse. Rose came in often to get in on rebound or sort of doubles or contests. The guy plays hard. Gallo is a large human being. When he and Towns stand next to each other they look like the same height to me. Gallo might have the stronger base at this point.

This game was there for the taking. Butler missed some bunnies and some FTs late and there were some other misses.

I listened to the Clipper broadcast. It was actually pretty enjoyable. They talked about how Taj always blows up against them.

The offense was frustrating down the stretch.

I don't know what was up with Butler but he didn't look like himself. He looked tired or something. Could this whole thing be getting to him?

Couldn't watch another Wolves loss, but I did read the game thread. Reading it you wouldn't know that Butler scored 20 points on just 13 shots and led the team in assists. Again, I get the Butler disdain and agree with a lot of it...don't like that he is abandoning this team. But we could use a little more of his scoring efficiency and assists (and I assume his usual tough defense) from the other players on the roster.

LST I don't have the distain of Butler when he actually plays even if I am ready to move on although I recognize it could be a while. I wouldn't say Butler played bad, but...there was something off. He just wasn't playing with his usual energy. He was short on some FTs. I'm not sure ultimately he hurt the team out there because he made some plays on both ends, but...trust me you would have seen some of what people are referring to if you had watched the game.

Butler was mostly absent for the first 3 quarters... I believe he had 4 points entering the 4th quarter as the Clippers built an 8 point lead.

Meanwhile, Towns had 16/10/3 at the half... but finished with only 20/12. If they're simply taking turns disappearing during games... meh.

No, I don't doubt the board when they say he looked off. The sad part is that an "off" Butler puts up more efficient stats and distributes the ball better than the guys we are going to be left with after his departure...doesn't make me very optimistic about our future.

There is also something about when a team plays as a unit. Sometimes that doesn't happen with Butler. Sometimes it was last night. There were times...maybe not as much. Look at what the Pacers were able to do with a group that just played ball. There could be a possible cohesion of thoseteam at some point that could yield some more positive results but that might not happen for another year.

I know you are willing to give Butler a lot of credit and to be honest as a basketball player Butler deserves that to some extent. However I also hope you can see how him sitting games out and then coming in and looking less than a guy...playing his butt off wanting to ball etc...it can kinda piss people off. Again me personally I'm just wondering what the deal is with him after watching the game last night. It's just another strange thing in a strange situation.

Also I wasn't thrilled at Rose getting the start but it probably did limit Tyus playing against Beverly which i do not think is a good matchup for Tyus. So in that respect starting Rose had some merit.

The deal is he wants out and he's starting to break mentally because he's not getting what he wants. Just add it to the list of shitty characteristics he has. Think of how many leaks there have been about deals that should have been made at this point? At some point you just say fuck it because you're getting strung along. He's finally not playing 100% out there because he's done with this team and they aren't moving on from him. The only one not done with this team at this point is Thibs which is the problem. Everyone is getting strung along at this point so it's just gonna keep getting worse until he's traded or Thibs just says he's not on the trading block anymore. This he could be gone any day now is dragging on everyone. Do something. Either trade him or keep him.
