In Wolfson's latest podcast he had some stuff worth mentioning in this thread. He says there are a few guys that would sign a vet min contract immediately if it was offered.

Stuckey
Foye
Gerald Green
CJ Watson

Foye's ahooting percebtages have been pretty poor the last couple years and he isn't getting younger. Watson would be ok if we can't get anyone better. Stucky if he could stay healthy I think could help a team but he is not a good shooter. Gerald Green? Sure bring him back home. There was someone from the MN media said that the difference between him when he was here in MN before and when they talked to him recently was very stark. They said he was very well spoken.

Guys that the Wolves have had contact with but are hoping for more money

Tony Allen
Dunlevey
Dante Cunningham

I'd take any of those guys.

Monte Ellis people called the Wolves. Kinda the same thing as Stucky only more likely to be healthy. Not sure if he is willing to take the min another team might be a better fit but he also has that drug suspension.

The Wolves offered Matt Costello a 2-way deal but he picked the Spurs. I'd pick the Spurs over the Wolves too. Wolfson that Charles Cooke is a guy they would likely like to sign a 2-way deal but he is looking for a partially guaranteed deal that pays more than the 2 way deal. Perry Ellis would be interested in 2 way deal but they haven't offered it.

I think that's all the super exciting info. Lol

Is Andrew Bogut still a free agent?

Yep

It's a bit crazy to think that Bogut and Ellis who were traded for each other 5 years ago are now both likely basically just vet min guys and in their early 30's.

I'd take either one or both on minimum vet deals.

At this point I'm hoping we end up with Dunleavy. He seems like the best 3-point shooter in terms of volume and accuracy that is available.

Isn't Luke Babbit still available? If so, I'd take him over Dunleavy. We have 3 spots left to get the 14, which is apparently what Thibs wants. At this point, I'd fill those three slots with Babbit, Gerald Green and Deron Williams.

I would be happy with that.

Afflalo is still available isn't he? Is he seeking more than vet min?

I'm sure he is. Over half the league has at least one exception with money over the vet min or cap space. Obviously a few of those teams won't be using that and there are only so many roster spots yet to be filled. There is still some money out there for guys to hope for. Some teams won't sign a 15th guy beyond camp invite types including the Wolves. It looks like the Wolves have the fewest players under contract at 11 with 2 other teams with 12 including the Knicks and everyone else has at least 13 guys. Some teams have more than 15 guys already including Houston and if the Knicks and Houston ever do that Melo trade that could balance both teams out or put some non-guaranteed guys on the market if the Knicks don't want them.

I'd be on board for Lip's plan.
