And the Pistons beat the Warriors. I guess those losses weren't so bad after all. The league has been fun so far.

So is it safe to say maybe just maybe, games like the wolves played happen time to time

The Knicks crushed the Cavs starting Jarrett Jack at PG.

That is what I'm saying the beginning of the year or so werid people need to get used to paying with eachother. Goal is not to play yourself out of it early.

Also warriors owner came out today and said that the China trip helped their brand but it has really hurt the players and coaches early in the season.

Jeff teague said similar things in an ESPN 1500 interview this week

Interesting comment from the Golden State owner. It's what I identified as a possible factor behind the Wolves poor performances against the Pacers and Pistons. You're right, kek, that the beginning of the NBA season can be a bit weird. I'd use the word deceiving. The cream tends to rise as the NBA season progresses. I look for teams like the Grizzlies, Jazz and others to tail off as the season moves forward.

We're already seeing a few stories/comments about the shorter pre-season... we'll see more after things level off.

Remember, the NBA started about two weeks earlier this season. I think we're seeing the effects of that in a few ways.

Glad to see him doing well. If I remember correctly Flip was very pro Oladipo coming out of college.

Dipo is some ways is kind of like Westbrook in that he is a combo guard that does a lot of stuff and is super athletic. He is a better shooter and could be a better defender. Obviously he isn't at Westbrook's level but the guy always had some legit game and his shooting while it consistent from 3 the percent rages were better than people realize over a season and last year he took a healthy amount of them. That pacer team he can pretty much be the guy with the ball a lot and that team is pretty deep with legit NBA rotation players. It looks like Sabonis might end up being the guy a lot of us thought he might be after all. Nate McMillen and his staff seem to have done well and they have been missing some guys that were supposed to contribute. It will be interesting to see if they keep it up.

Oof. Josh Jackson looks pretty rough right now, especially on offense. There have been a lot of rookies doing some great work, but he's struggling.

Booker by the way is becoming an all-around great player. He could end up being a better version of Klay Thompson.

Brooklyn playing RHJ at Center right now....literally four wings and a PG. He's guarding Alex Len.

Deangelo is quietly averaging 20/5/4 in just 26 minutes a night for those Nets as well.
