It's the worst I've ever seen. Bogut was notorious in GS for moving screens, but they've taken it to a whole new level of illegal. They're literally just running interference out there like lead blockers. The league definitely needs to address it this summer and crack down on it. It's just so bad and so obvious and they let it go because it's a top team in the league.
Yeah, there was one play where I think it was PJ Tucker that basically blocked Jimmy Butler practically into the paint on a high screen and roll and freed up Harden for the 3. Luckily Harden missed, but it was such an obvious moving screen. It's funny, because the officials will call it more often when the screener remains perpendicular to the guy being screened and they stick their hip out or something like that. But what these guys do once the initial screen is set, they face up as if they are rolling to the hoop and then just take the guy they are screening with them, locked arms and all. That's a foul!

No other team in the League gets away with it like the Rockets do. It's not acceptable. The League has to step in with direction and disciplinary action if necessary.

There is no technique to what they do. It's so obvious and blatant that you just don't get away with it if you aren't a top team in the league. It's not a sneaky effective play like vets usually talk about when it comes the little things that can make a difference. That cutoff was Bogut's illegal screens. It's just boxing out in the middle of a screen or even more egregiously staying between the defender and the ball handler by any means neccessary while locking up the defender. You can't replicate it because you'll get called for it and they won't. If you don't have a Rocket or a Golden Gate bridge on your jersey you don't get to do it in the West.

I agree some teams get calls but there is some technique too it. Taj does some of the same and gets away with it. You've broken down how poorly Towns is as a screener. Some of the guards need to be better as well. One thing Rubio was good at is setting screens. Last night he was setting some and was basically plowing through guys. The other option is finding ways to attack those screens so they are fouls.
