GSW vs SAS is going to be a great series. Can't wait!

Cleveland is so happy in the East right now. Think about how much better SAS or GSW is than anybody Cleveland has to play to get to the Finals. Toronto barely beat Indiana. Atlanta? Meh.

And once the Finals begin... anything can happen.

[Note: Yes... I'm bitter thinking about other teams that had that advantage in the past... 1980s Lakers. And the Nash-led Suns were on the other end... the 2nd best NBA team but never even making the Finals.]

Great game tonight in San Antonio. Don't count the Thunder out. They showed tonight that they can take this series against the Spurs. I don't think they'd beat the Warriors if Curry is healthy. But I wouldn't count then out entirely against the Wsrriors either.

I'd like the see the Thunder win the whole thing this season. They are what the Wolves can be - a small market team built through the draft. An organization drafting intelligently and then patiently allowing those young players to grow and develop together.

The biggest difference between the two teams is coaching. Pop vs Donovan just isn't fair, and I love Billy D, but he's at a severe disadvantage. Hope he can make the series interesting because if he can't, it'd be a prime example of what I didn't want to happen to our guys with a young coach.

So now that he has made the series interesting, what does that mean?

Here is what is shocking to me: According to B-ball Reference's shooting stats, Aldridge makes 43% of his 2-point shots between 10 feet and out to the 3-point line. This is generally considered pretty good. But....How is that possible!? Because I swear, he makes 75% of his face-up jumpers when I watch him play. The dude doesn't miss!

I think there is only one explanation Q. LaMarcus knows when you are watching.

Holy crap, Cleveland just served notice to Golden State: "Anything you can do I can do better!"

But how Atlanta can leave Cleveland shooters frequently so wide open? I can understand it in some cases like when you are guarding LeBron in the beginning of the game, you try to prevent him from driving and check it his outside shot wouldn't be falling. But even after Cleveland had hit ten treys, Atlanta continued leaving Cleveland players open behind three point line.

What makes this even more strange is that if I remember right Atlanta was one of the best teams in defending three pointers during regular season.

True, but some of those 3's by Smith were heavily contested. I mean he was hitting step-back 3's with a hand right in his face. In other cases, Cleveland did a great job penetrating, kicking it out and then swinging the ball.

This Cleveland team is looking dangerous.

Cavs have the talent and there always a chance they could put it together and I've seen plenty of teams find themselves in the playoffs and play championship basketball. I've never completely counted them out to win it all this year.

Lebron and a bunch of 3 point shooters? Who would have think it? I've been saying that was a good idea since he first went to Miami. Maybe I can get a spot on Sam Mitchell's coaching staff. Lol
