Harrell also had about 100 dunks last year at Louisville. Heavily relying on dunks. While that's a great ability, I'd like to see more from him.
(He has greatly improved his shooting stroke from last year, but can he keep it up for a whole season?)

I think he's only going to get better. His work ethic seems amazing and its rare to see someone with a motor like his and skills to match. So IDK Cam just like you with stauskas last year and oladipo the year before this is my guy through and through. DIBS!!!

Lol I respect that 100%. Harrell's a guy that I would bet on to keep getting better. Seems like that kind of player. Work, work and work some more.
PS: This year's Cam favorite is Karl Towns Jr. He's got it all for me.

The annual Louisville Kentucky game should be a great one this year I hope we get to see a little bit of Harrell and Towns matched up against each other! I haven't had a chance to watch much Kentucky this year because they seem to always be the early 6 o'clock game

Not to take you to task Cam and it's still early, but Stauskas has not looked good so far.....Of course, neither have a lot of other rookies (including our own), but Stauskas came into the league with a few years of college under his belt and a pretty refined game. I would have hoped for better results thus far.

I still love both Okafor and Towns, but also still don't think we will be drafting in the top three this year. Right now, I'm watching Stanley Johnson against Michigan, and if there's a better defensive college player, I haven't seen him...incredible defense, especially for a freshman. Some reports on him say he doesn't have much of a vertical, but he's putting on a leaping show today. He's not a bad guess as BPA at the spot we'll be drafting, We could do worse.

D'Angelo Russell is another name to watch. Won't go into a scouting report just yet, but he's the definition of smooth. Looks like a PLAYER.

Stanley Johnson has been as consistent as they come so far in his freshman year. I think we could mess around and end up with a Wiggins/Johnson pair on the wings going into next year. Still need a rim-protecting big who can play solid post defense and we'd have the foundation of a good defensive team. And Stanley's a good kid.

I'm with you LST and Cam. I have seen AZ play a couple times, and Johnson certainly stands out. He is consistent, even with his 3 ball so far. Don't know if that was a strength coming in, but it has been solid. And like you said, this guy could be a lights-out defender. This is the difference for me when it comes to evaluating defensive ability between a guy like Johnson and Wiggins. Last year, while I think Wiggins was a good defender, he just didn't stand out that often. Johnson, on the other hand, looks the part the majority of the time.

I love Russell's game too, Cam, but so far he has looked dominant against weak opponents, but not so good when they played Louisville and North Carolina (shot 4-17 against the 'Heels today). He does look good on defense and handling the ball, but I'd like to see him shoot well once the Big Ten schedule starts. Certainly a guy to keep an eye on.
