LeBron's decision is great for the NBA and great for professional sports. It's also great for LeBron who has solidified his legacy as a great player with unyielding home-town loyalty. I believe this will also be great for the Wolves because I am certain it will trigger a trade that brings a potential franchise player named Andrew Wiggins to the Wolves.

If the Love/Wiggins deal happens today (and of course, I think it won't, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed), does Wiggins slap on a Wolves uniform and play Saturday afternoon? And who becomes the starting five? I go with

Shved
Wiggins
Shabazz
Michigan PF
Dieng

With LaVine and the Puppy the first two off the bench.

Make it happen!

While I'm not yet on board with the last part of your post, lip, I couldn't agree more about how happy this deal makes me. The best player in the world going home to help a struggling franchise is a marvelous feel good story. And don't feel bad for Miami. If you had asked Miami fans four years ago if they would be satisfied with 4 years of LBJ and 2 championships, 98% would have said "Bring it on!"

Not to mention, LeBron's letter was terrific. I know he didn't write it, of course, but I'm certain he gave the sentiments to his publicist, and the publicist just made it sound better. What a classy letter! Now, try to imagine Kevin Love having such mature sentiments.

They're both great players, but only one of them has class.

Shved gets bumped to the bench pretty hard. LaVine starts without a doubt.

At the point? Could be...Lip said he looked pretty fluid there Tuesday night...you're probably right.

LeBron is past his prime and unfortunately Cleveland fans will see him regress over the next couple years. :D

A young core of LaVine, Wiggins, Shabazz, Dieng, would be very nice!

Why not wait till the Love situation plays out before saying what Love would or wouldn't do. For example just a few hours ago Lip was ripping Lebron for how he was handling things (it was a fair point) and then Lebron announced with the letter and Lip seems pretty satisfied with how things played out. Nobody blames Love for wanting out let's see what he does if/when it happens and judge then. Maybe Love does something that make us wish him well when he leaves. Just sayin.

Great letter by Lebron I wonder what the Lebron haters will find to complain about next. I was tired for the haters before the Finals and it got really old during the finals and after. This is coming from a guy that's not a huge fan of Lebron but obviously think he is the best player in the game. He had to win me over though.
