Philosophically I think running a 7 or 8 man roster in the regular season is insane. Maybe Finch really believes his job is on the line. I understand wanting to acclimate Randle but its silly not to give these guys a breath even if it costs the regular season record. Play 10 and push the ball. Those bench minutes were finally some fun ball this year.Q-is-here wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2024 3:27 pmIt's just crazy that we have probably been one of the healthiest teams in the NBA this season. It's kind of a double-downer in that you'd expect us to have more to show for it since staying healthy is such a big determinant of regular season success. Yet at the same time it's deprived us from seeing some of the potential on the back-end of our roster, i.e. Dillingham, Minott, Shannon, etc.thedoper wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2024 3:08 pmI actually wrote that after the Thompson dunk where DDV fouled him. But Minott showed some skill in that game that makes me absolutely believe he needs to be on the floor more, including that play and the 3 he hit after that. We have depth that could be an advantage for us.BeenLurkin wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2024 1:13 pm
The steal and outlet skip to DDV at 8:49 in the second!?!? Cause I just watched the replay and said wow outloud. That was sick
Is Point Randle a Thing? Wolves at Rockets GDT

Well, he's clearly been running 8, not 7. And it's lately been more like an 8.25 man rotation if you include Josh's 5 minutes per game, LOL.thedoper wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2024 11:45 pmPhilosophically I think running a 7 or 8 man roster in the regular season is insane. The reality is that Ant is the only player averaging more than 35 MPG. Compare that to the #2 offense Knicks where nearly every starter is averaging 35 MPG or more. Our 8.25-man rotation is different than other teams with a tight rotation because one could argue our 6 thru 8 guys are legit starting-caliber talent (and perhaps should be starting on our own team!), so the minutes are spread quite evenly once you get past Ant, Julius, and Rudy.
Having said that, can Finch at least expand the existing rotation to 8.5??? Is it THAT hard to find 3-5 more 2nd half minutes for Minott?? He's certainly earned it.
