Not even close. That was the best play Finch could draw up? What the hell?

Yeah, this is why he really needs another top-flight ball handler that can create shots for himself and others. Dillingham will be that guy eventually hopefully.
Yes, Dilly will be that guy. He’s super talented. I trust TC when it comes to evaluating draft talent and I think he got it right with both Dilly and TSJ. Miller, Minott and Clark were also very solid picks considering where they were drafted.

Yeah, not very impressive.

Still, not a terrible performance by the Wolves. I thought we fell pretty short on the "bad-call" stick.

I find myself torn between hoping this team can keep growing with Randle, or whether we are just twiddling our thumbs for the next shoe to drop (ie. a Randle trade).

the Wolves being in so many clutch games would normally be a good thing except,

1. they're not good enough to win blowouts

2. they're not closing out these games. If they can't win these games in January they're not gonna flip the switch and win them in April and May.

Just let Rob cook and when Shannon is ready, let him cook.

The cruel irony is that we traded KAT because we were worried about his injury history. Now DiVincenzo's done for the regular season.

Ant now 2/20 on shots to tie or take the lead

I called for Dilly to start way before he was even getting PT. He should be out there with the starters.

To quote Rage Against the Machine, " What better place than here? What better time than now?"

Trade literally everyone else.
Not sure I’m quite ready to join your call to fire Finch. Otherwise, I agree with you although I’d include TSJ as part of our core group moving forward. I’d probably also include DDV. Moving forward with that core has been my view for the past two months although I wavered on Jaden for a bit. Fortunately, Jaden has turned things around. His three-point shooting still isn’t as consistent as it needs to be and I’m still looking for more of a dribble drive game from him. But he’s back to being a great defender and he’s doing other stuff as well. Jaden’s three point shots weren’t falling today, but I love that he pulled down 11 rebounds. And love that Naz had 8 boards.

Randle has to go. I’d keep Rudy over Randle, but if we can get adequate value in return for Rudy I’d trade him as well. On the other hand, I can see us moving forward with Rudy and a core of Ant, Jaden, Dilly, Naz, DDV and TSJ. If we can trade Randle’s $30 million contract for expiring contracts and we let NAW walk, we can re-sign Naz and possibly get below the 1st apron, which would allow us to use our full MLE as well as our biennial exception and maneuver without significant transactional limitations.

That is so brutal.
