Ant now 2/22 in his career to tie or take under 30 seconds (made it by 1 second to avoid 2/23)

Shockley got the memo a little late...
Shockley: Why the hell didn't you tell me about that passageway?

Mally: I'm your prisoner. I was trying to escape.

Ant was 0 for 4 in the last 3:30. You had to win thisnwith our schedule coming up. No Giannis or Dame and we lose. Just awful.

I feel like Finch made a strategic error by having Rudy play so many minutes. Lopez was a real presence at the rim and impacted a lot of shots because he didn't have to guard the perimeter at all. We should have played more small-ball with Reid at Center spacing the floor and that would have allowed Ant and others to attack the basket more.

At a certain point, let someone else take these shots late in games.

When you don't have a 2nd option, I guess Ant feels the need to hog these shots.

But I also think Finch could do things in terms of the lineup and play calling to put Ant in a better position. Ultimately he's the head coach and needs to get these guys in a position to succeed. Whatever he's doing in these tight games isn't working!

Rudy had a great game overall. Ant shooting 4-17 from 3 and 10-33 overall is the difference in this game.

I understand he had a good box score game, but Lopez was a real presence in the paint. One of the reasons Ant took so many outside shots was because Lopez was playing drop and generally doing a nice job protecting the rim. Rudy out and Naz at Center drags Lopez out to the perimeter.

Doesn't excuse all of the missed shots by Ant, but just thought Finch should have changed it up in the 2nd half and gone smaller and faster, especially with the way Shannon was playing.
