AI tells me at the current win loss ratio for the season, the Wolves would go 16-11 in the remaining games and up with a win/loss record of 49-33, one more than the 48 wins I predicted. I sort of think they’ll do better than that, but it might be that they are who they are…
If we do not hit 50 wins for back to back seasons with this roster, there is something seriously wrong and inept that needs looking at during the summer trade season. I have zero doubts regardless who goes out, that in a Giannis trade, this team starts hitting 55 annually.

With this latest Giannis injury his trade value certainly will be tanking. He's becoming a risky player now with so many seasons of injuries. Can you really count on him to stay healthy, most importantly for a long playoff run? IDK.
Knock on wood, the one strength the Wolves seem to have is their training staff, so maybe he'd be the best fit here. I still would question of we have the depth to go all in on Giannis. We then would likely have to really count on the younger guys, Joan, Clark, TJ, etc...

Connelly just hasn't been good enough to fill in the gaps if he did acquire Giannis and Finch wouldn't be good enough to keep those guys ready even if they don't play.
That being said, I've come around to trading for Giannis if it happens. I already know what Randle is and what McDaniels won't be.

Considering this season likely looks to be ending up in disaster, I'd be fine with firing Finch and trading for Giannis. I think a Rudy trade would also probably be needed too, just so we can space the floor for Giannis and Ant. I still might prefer a PG like Kyrie though for Ju type of trade. I know that has been speculated as well, does Kyrie really fit the Dallas timeline? He could probably be had.
