Joan back in after a short Rocco stint (may have been yanked for not getting back?). End of the 1st quarter and I believe Joan has 3 blocks! Iowa is up, but their double digit lead has been whittled down.

Joan hits his 1st FT. It’s probably due to matchups, but the team is involving Joan a lot more on offense than they did in the last game. Nice to see!

I didn’t remember that Rocco is a lefty. Might have to think about that! :D

He has a really nice shooting stroke, doesn't he? He could turn into a stretch 5. I also think he is a better passer and rebounder than Joan. Joan is much more athletic though. I've seen a lot to like in both of them today.

I like Newton’s game today. He’s not out there to just get his. Real nice lob pass to Joan just now.

Yup! I am excited with the diversity we should have down the road with both of them. Rocco could be a player you dream about - rebounding, rim protection AND 3-point shooting. And Joan has the tools to be special, but with the exception of rim protection, we just don’t know what it might look like.

Iowa with a double digit lead at the half.

The Knicks forgot to come out for the 2nd half. Iowa up big.

30+ point lead to start the 4th. I mentioned Freeman looking much better at PF, and I haven’t mentioned him again, but he has had a very nice game - leading scorer so far.

I'm a little concerned with Joan's rebounding and nose for the ball. And this dates back to the preseason.

Finchy said a couple days ago that he still expected Joan to get some meaningful minutes late in the season. I don't know...Rocco looks the more ready of the two. And when I reflect on how Miller dominated G League, he seems more ready than either of them.
