We had a prior poster I think that coined it, maybe it was Itssosab. I think his name was just SAB at the time, but maybe it was a different poster even? Long time ago for sure but I ran with SAB as well as it epitomized his game. Never took a charge in his career! lolFNG wrote: ↑Thu Nov 20, 2025 7:06 pmWig!!!!Wolvesfan21 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 20, 2025 6:21 pmSoft Ass Bitch. I'm still angry after watching his non growth and soft play after so many years. I'm quite sure Cool was the only one who tried to defend him till the end. Don't think it was Cam. I think it had to be Cool. Which is why I said he likes watching 40% long jumper 2's versus 76% Rudy dunks. The dichotomy is interesting.

I always liked Wig, still do. Both for his play and his character. He never achieved NBA greatness and that's okay as far as I'm concerned. If you hate him because of that, that's on you not Wig. I wish the Wolves had a player with a championship ring and had a great championship series like he did.Wolvesfan21 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 20, 2025 7:21 pmWe had a prior poster I think that coined it, maybe it was Itssosab. Folks always hold draft status against players despite them not having any control over that. Number 1 picks rarely meet or much less exceed expectations.Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 20, 2025 7:39 pmI always liked Wig, still do. Both for his play and his character. To be honest I think we all need to reevaluate how we're assessing Rob's play, but that's a conversation for another thread

Re: The importance of Rudy
That's what is interesting. Rudy is the exact opposite of Wiggins. Wiggins was and is a poor shooter, couldn't rebound, a weak motor, mostly didn't defend or couldn't or wouldn't, never took a charge in his life and was a perennial loser till he joined two or three or four (Kerr?) HOFers to ride on their coattails.Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 20, 2025 7:39 pmI always liked Wig, still do. Both for his play and his character. Wiggins is a case of wasted talent, got 50% of what he was capable of, we all knew he could be great but didn't care enough to do it. While Rudy is getting closer to 100% of what he is capable of. I respect the effort, I can't respect the non effort.
I understand why you like Wiggins and not Rudy.

In the NBA guys kind of do mostly pan out (1st overall that is). I did a quick search at number 1 picks and like 50% make the HOF. We won't be seeing Wiggins there.AussieWolf3 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 20, 2025 8:05 pmFolks always hold draft status against players despite them not having any control over that. Re: The importance of Rudy
I could make a tape a thousand hours long of Wiggins pretending to be a cone on defense. It'd be really boring to watch though and sadly I've watched most of it already!Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 21, 2025 11:52 amhttps://x.com/Vullety/status/1991596495192400160?s=20Wolvesfan21 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 21, 2025 6:22 amThat's what is interesting.
