Just a note from last nights game. Rudy has 2 flagrant points left. If he gets a flagrant 2 or two flagrant 1s he will be suspended 2 games. Every flagrant after that it’s a 2 game suspension. Does not reset in the playoffs
We are about 30% through the season. Rudy is going to get suspended.

Abe's Next Day DVR Review:
- The Suns consistently got where they wanted to go... which made their looks seem so much better than the Wolves' looks. And it's guys like Colin Gillespie and Grayson Allen driving past guys. That should NOT happen as easily as it looks.
Meanwhile, the Wolves are being pushed further and further out on the floor. The Wolves were lucky to stay close in this one early.
- Julius Randle and Anthony Edwards shot 22 - 32 (69%). Conley, Reid, DiVincenzo and McDaniels shot 4 - 31 (13%).
- Gobert is suspended for the next flagrant he picks up.
- Bones Hyland gave the Wolves something off the bench. But it's amusing/frustrating seeing him try to create for others. He's small... but definitely NOT a PG. He should just be one of those heat check guys deep on the end of the bench. Throw him in a game when the team is lethargic or getting blown out just to see if he can get on a heater for a spell to inject some energy. He can get buckets at times. But he's not a serious rotation player.
- Speaking of Hyland... it's a VERY BAD sign for Dillingham that the franchise star player has been angling for Bones Hyland. The Wolves are going to do what Anthony Edwards wants them to do. And if that's play Bones over Dillingham... so be it. If that's to cut bait on Dillingham... so be it.
Sounds like Bones chose his Timberwolves friends wisely.
- If Naz Reid isn't making three pointers... he's a liability.
- Grayson Allen and Dillon Brooks are two of the league's most annoying players... by design. And it works. Little things, like when Brooks purposely tangled with Randle late in the game after taking a dumb shot. Or... when Rudy was at the free throw line by himself after the flagrant on Mark Williams... Brooks races in at Rudy just as he's shooting the ball to distract him.
Yet, despite the annoyances and the sometimes putrid shooting... Dillon Brooks is probably going to be starting in the playoffs for his 3rd NBA team in a few months.
Dillon Brooks is the leading shot taker on the Suns... and yet the Wolves are only 1 game ahead of them and lost to them twice. Yuck.
- Who would you rather have for this season...
Rob Dillingham. Or Jamaree Bouyea?
Bouyea has played 27 games over the past 4 seasons for SIX different teams.
- The Wolves have arguably been one of the healthiest teams in the league this season. And they've played the easiest part of the schedule.
Meanwhile, Boston has the same record without its best player... all three of its bigs from last season... and its starting PG. I know it's a bit disingenuous to compare our favorite team to another random team in the L... but I think the best organizations have a culture about them where winning is the legit goal.
- Starting slow. Energy issues. Et al. Game after game after game. This is on the players. Veteran players. But... it's also the NBA and if the Wolves just meander through this season and win 44 or 45 games and lose with a minimal whimper in the playoffs... it might be a sign that a new voice is needed.

I had to check the comments. That was BS. OK flagrant 1 is reasonable, even still soft. Kicked out is ridiculous.

Just saw this posted on twitter—
“Gobert’s ejection was less harmful than McDaniels/Reid/Divincenzo/Conley continuing to play, lol”
Ha!

Re: FNG says it's a Dub - Suns at Wolves GDT
OKC beats the Suns 138 to 89. That's how frickin' embarrassing it is the Wolves managed to lose to those very same Suns.
Re: FNG says it's a Dub - Suns at Wolves GDT
I saw that OkC had Caruso and Hartenstein out and was still favored by 17 1/2 over a very scrappy Suns team, so I put some money down on the Suns. I haven't done the math yet, but I suspect 138 minus 89 might be more than 17 1/2
