I've always believed in BPA in the first round. So if by chance an Alabama wr falls in our laps by all means take him. But there's a couple OLineman that might be BPA by the time we pick as well. Not having a 2nd round pick means a lot of Oline talent will be off the board by the time we pick again!

This is a really good thing for the Vikes. Should have multiple Olinemen or DEs to choose from at their pick.

I'm a little concerned they take the Michigan DE which I've seen some mocks have us taking. Guys who don't have strong production in the college game not to often end up being stars in the NFL. He scares me with his lack of sacks. You couldn't get sacks against college tackles and now you want to beat Pro ones? Just seems to obvious to me that the scouts are seeing stuff and hyping a guy more then they are worth.

I think with a mid 1st you want someone who looks like they will be a Pro Bowler. If a WR drops or CB we could even go that route. But sure we are desperate need of help on both fronts of the ball. You must win up front in the NFL. Continuing to shove out bottom ten OLines has been a problem for a long time.

I'm not disagreeing with you but remember when Danielle Hunter wasn't productive enough in college? Good times. Lol

There aren't many 1st round picks that were dumped that quickly...by 2 different teams. He hasn't even been in the league an entire year he was drafted April 23 2020.

I still remember Underwood who I'm pretty sure never made it out of camp due to his mental illness.

I was trying to remember who that was. I was trying to remember his name.

Reading his Wikipedia page is interesting. I kinda forgot he played for Dallas and actually had a somewhat productive first season there with 4 sacks.

Meanwhile Jeff Gladney...

Still no more news about Jeff Gladney but I found this article. I didn't have high hopes for it but I think it was actually well done. I'm assuming we haven't heard more because everyone is trying to get all their information etc.

I don't know what the impact will be with Jeff Gladney. It was a pick I was not happy with and would have gone with Jaylon Johnson who went to the Bears.

Julian Edelman retired?

He turns 35 in May but honestly before I looked that up I thought he was older.
